you are not the first person to ever feel this or have the "guts" to say this

CoD games are just playable. You put them in and the controls are tight and if you play shooters you can just get in and play no problem.

They are not going to win awards for story.
They are full of stupid jingoistic hawkish militray knob-gobbling.
They play like slight variatiosn fo the same game.

But, that is WHAT they are to the core. It is battle reduced down to sport, which is all most sports are...a reductive proxy of battle.

I won't even buying another Call Of Duty game until they fix the fucking gameplay. 0,000001 second kill times accompanied with ridiculous amount of auto-aim, no recoil and occasional network hiccups makes the game unplayable.

For what it's worth, playing the PS3 version, it doesn't look very good. Some really awful textures. Makes me excited to play it on PS4.
