Funko Announces Cuphead Cereal

Funko, the toy company behind the adorable/creepy/vacant-eyed parody dolls of beloved cultural icons ranging from Spider-Man to David Cross that time he covered himself in blue paint for in episode of Arrested Development, announced in a new blog post today it will soon be selling cereal as well. It’ll be called FunkOs and each box will come with its own Funko Pop. Yes. Of Course. Why not.

Looks like you can get them at your neighborhood Hot Topic (that's a sentence I haven't said in a decade). On one hand, fuck Funko Pops. On the other hand, the gaming cereal of my childhood was hilariously bad???

Sure why not. Two dumb things that can be dumb together. (I mean that in a good way) I know it's cool to hate Funko Pops but theres far worse pop culture vomit shoved down our throats on a regular basis, these things are way easier to ignore.

Also doesnt most cereal that used to come with toys come with QR codes or something stupid now? This is better than that, surely?

If you can't pour the cereal into Mugman's head then this is an extremely missed opportunity

@dudeglove: The WWE's Booty-O's must've did well enough for Funko to get in on the business.

Funko's probably too big to fail (unfortunately) but releasing multiple cereal SKUs in the same window seems like a sucker's game.

I'd probably buy them all at least once if any of them were at a store I ever go to.

You couldn't pay me to put a food product made by fuckin Funko into my body.

This is kind of incredible, but will it be as brutal to eat as the game is brutal to play? It better be.
