Anyone playing this game on switch having lots of technical problems?

I had the sound issue, which they patched. But now I'm doing the mission where you tail Nick and he gets stuck going up a hill, making the mission impossible to complete.

Also sometimes while driving my car is unable to get up to top speed and it feels like it's stuck in the ground a tiny bit.

Also can't seem to find any way to contact the publisher directly.

I've not played the game myself but did he reports of some technical issues from reviewers / other players which is a shame as I was looking forward to replaying the game possibly on the switch

A Deadly Premonition port having bugs is the bad, but also not surprising in the least. That game feels like it's held together by duct tape and a prayer at the best of times.

I don't think that is a Switch issue. I remember something similar happening to me on the PC version as well. I wish I could remember what the fix or how I got passed it, but it's been a rather long time since I played it.

I have it on Steam and I got it on the Switch. The Steam version after a while kept kicking me to my desktop after about 15 minutes of play so I stopped. The Switch version is also a technical underachievement. The biggest thing is that the frame rate is extremely bad and the textures are severely lacking. The driving is unwieldy and buggy too. I was driving over a bridge once and an invisible barrier stopped my car in its tracks. I'm not sure if its the frame rate or separate, but sometimes it the car can swerve fast in either direction.

I stopped on the Switch where I stopped on the Steam version actually, which is several hours into it when you're supposed to kill some time to meet the diner woman after her shift. I'll go back to it at some point (probably a bit before two comes out) because I like everything about the game except how technically bad it is. Also, I'm not a big fan of the Switch console itself, to be honest (I've said it already elsewhere, but a lack of DD and DTS with optical bums me out). I know that the original version was a mess technically, but it feels like they didn't put much work into the Switch version.

I will say though, the ugliness of it doesn't bother me much, it's just bugs that can stop me and the frame rate that bothers me. The ugliness, at least to me, kind of adds to the awkwardness of the game and I'm not sure I'd want the game to be a technical masterpiece because it might ruin some of it, which is weird to say.
