I recently submitted something that with some searching after the fact I discovered was already here. Is there any way to cancel a submission to save you the time of reading and denying it? (I know the crew is extremely busy right now)
If not I would like to propose adding a way for users to do so.
I pledge to be thoroughly sure something does not exist before I click submit from now on as a precautionary measure.
Can we cancel submissions?

That would be a nice feature because I am sure a bunch of people have already added stuff that they didn't look for or find then find it. This would also help out Jeff, Ryan, Brad, and Vinny because then that would be one less page to moderate in the queue. I am sure it is something that they are planning on adding since the site is in beta.
Oh yeah, definitely need the option to delete submissions. In the meantime, I guess we've all gotta make extensive use of the advanced search.
My problem is that I've added things into the queue that weren't on the site at the time, and then within the span of a few minutes were added by someone else who's sumbission was approved. So now it looks like I'm submitting redundant information when really it wasn't there 40 minutes ago (I swear!).

If that is possible.
I agree, there definitely needs to be a delete or cancel function. It would make the mods' life easier.
I somehow accidentally submitted something twice (sorry mods!), and to my dismay, I couldn't delete the second submission. Though, oddly enough, both submissions were accepted...
