Combine Capcom and SNK versions of Card Fighters Clash

I believe that the Capcom and SNK versions of Capcom vs. SNK Card Fighters Clash should be combined since games in similar situations such as Pokemon Red/Blue have been combined.

Am I wrong about these needing to be combined? As far as I know they only differ in which cards are available (ala Pokemon), the background color, and different player character and rival.
