As much as I love it, I don't think Myth II: Chimera should have its own game page. It was never released in any sort of standalone capacity, and only exists in disc form due to Myth compilations that include user-generated content. I'm open to hearing why it should stay, but it seems clear to me that Myth II: Chimera would've been called DLC had the term existed at the time.

I'm more than happy to add Chimera to the DLC section of Myth II if there are no objections.

I don't get it. If it was a disc you bought in a store, it's a game. "disc form," right?

Not really. I'm talking about stuff like Myth: The Total Codex and Myth II: Worlds where a bunch of additional content that was already available for free via the internet was packaged along with the original games. Make no mistake, Chimera was never actually sold on its own.

Edit:

Just by way of comparison, consider Green Berets, which was also essentially a Myth II mod, but eventually became a full retail product, therefore it deserves a page. Chimera, however, wasn't a retail product. The practice of re-releasing games with added content like map packs is quite common, and the additional content in said releases does not necessarily deserve its own page.

I have never played Chimera, but I know my brother has.  Do we usually keep expansions as DLC or as stand-alone products?  I'd suspect that if it was an expansion and it added more to the narrative than we should keep it.  I'm not sure that how a game was sold determines whether it is significant enough or not.

My argument is precisely that it is not an expansion, but rather a high-profile fan plugin for Myth II that, while certainly good enough to draw the attention and official support of Bungie Studios, was released for free download just like any other Myth plugin. It was only later that it became included "Battle Chest" style in the Myth: Total Codex, but so did many other popular plugins. If it should stay, my question is this: What makes Chimera different from the other free plugins included in these compilations?

And to answer your other query, how a piece of content is released is very important important when it comes to whether it gets a page or not. Green Berets would not have gotten a page had it not been boxed and sold on its own.
