Do you think GB needs better video features shorting?

I love all the videos features from GB and I re watch older videos fairly often.  It just really bothers me that all those great videos get all mushed together into "Features" and "Subscriber" section.  I'm just the type of person that gets all paranoid when things are not neatly organized in their own space. 
Wouldn't it makes more sense to put all "I love monday", "Mail Box", "TnT" in their own sub folder?  Sames goes for all the other regular features video and perhaps a section for those 1 off things they do.  
The videos I re watch the most are all those retro live stream they've done and I always have trouble remembering the names of all those.

I can support this. It would certainly help browsing older videos. Of course, there is a search feature that essentially does just that, but what harm is there in cutting out the middle man?

Yeah, like get the "Load our Last Save" and the ERs in their respective folders according to game would be awesome. I'm sure they're working on something like that....

I'm fine with it the way it is, but what I really want is each video to be tagged. That way we can just search for any video with content for a certain game, segment title, crew member and lots of other data. Even if they are too lazy to do that themselves, the community has a shit ton of crazy wiki type people that I'm sure would take it upon themselves to do it. Just put a super high end wiki point value on gaining access to do so to keep out all the casual trolls that would abuse it.

I would like to see episodic videos play in the correct order. I started to watch all of the Chrono Trigger Endurance Run videos and got really annoyed that once the video ends, I need to make sure I go to the next one. It always wants to play the last video uploaded. I ended up watching half of the last episode several times because I wasn't paying full attention to it. Oh, well.

Also, the simple act of navigating videos has a pretty awful interface as well. Had multiple people complain about it when I was getting them into the site, and I hate it too. There should also be some way to go forward/back more than 4 pages at once. Took me several minutes just to get back to Quick Looks from 2010.

Yup. It'd be swell to sort by person too, for example;

Quick Looks including Drew or Dave.

This is kinda why I've always downloaded all their videos of interest and organized them properly on one of my hard drives.

Yes, browsing the site for older videos and bombcasts can be a pain. I really hope Giant Bomb has plans for a redesign this year or at least an announcement of their goals for 2012.

2011 was a very uneventful year IMO-other than hiring Patrick I can't remember any other major announcements or major new features the site added in 2011. Giant Bomb content is still the best in class but with other sites aping Giant Bomb I hope the team doesn't become too complacent. The site should be continuously innovating and I feel like the guys lost their much of their momentum after the site became established.

Yeah, I also wish they had a "first, last, next previous" tab at the bottom where the page numbers are for the videos. It'd be really helpful.

It doesn't bother me, but I can definitely see where you're coming from. I understand their keeping ILM in Features (since very little else goes there anyway), but it would be really cool if we got some submenus in Subscriber for the different features.

Any additional sorting options would be welcomed by me.

Another thing I'd like to see is the page number buttons at the bottom left, next to the number of videos, be extended across the width of the site. I'm rewatching the P4 endurance run and in order to get to the beginning you have to click on page 5, then page 9 and finally page 10. There's room there for about 30 page number buttons, use the space!

It needs better sorting for more than just videos. I love me some filters, and being able to search by (multiple) tag words would make finding videos, games, news stories, etc. much easier. I do hate websites showing tag words in an ugly, obtuse manner, but it is certainly possible to have them there elegantly.

I believe they use to be sorted that way but they changed it for some reason.
