I recently felt the urge to re-install and play trough Knights of the Old Republic again. Since it's an older game there is some tweaking needed to make it run as well as it can (widescreen resolution).

Playing these older games usually means scouring the internet for ways to solve compatibility and performance issues. Wouldn't it be great if you were able to look up a game on Giant Bomb and have a section called "tweaks" or something similar?
You could check which order to apply patches in, OS compatibility issues/solutions. I think it would be great to have some kind of unified repository for this kind of information.
Or would this kind of thing fit under the guides section?
What do you think?

Yeah, actually it would be kinda cool to have a section for tweaks and mods for various games.  Only problem is it might flood the wiki with crappy ones, but sometimes you gotta take the bad with the good.

Being able to rate/review the tweaks and mods would be nice as well.

@JCTango: guess there's a fine line between tweaks and mods and that could lead to some problems.

Hmm, yeah I guess you're right, heh.

The tweak thing... some of that stuff could probably get found in their respective gaming forum, or on the wiki page itself.  Having it all in one section is kinda handy though, that's true.

Sounds like a good idea for another site entirely. Somebody should get on that.
