1. Dark Bowser This could be considered Bowser, or the Dark Star. Either way, it shouldn't have a separate page.

@LordAndrew: I went ahead and added the Dark Bowser stuff to the bowser page already, so the page can be deleted.

Marino can deal with the pages marked for deletion when he gets back from PAX.

I don't really agree with Dark Bowser being deleted and added to Bowser's page. Doppelganger characters like Dark Bowser, Dark Samus, and, well, Doppelganger, aren't really alternate versions of characters, just clones that take on their appearance.

@Praxis: We have a character page for Bowser, and I think it would be reasonable to give a character page to the Dark Star (since it's sentient). There's no need for a separate Dark Bowser page at all.

Fine. But this duplication of effort is exactly why I submitted the page for deletion immediately. My page actually had more than Patrick's at the time, but that's changed in the past two days.

I think if a Dark version of a character is different enough from the original to be considered separate, they deserve their own page. Otherwise, just devote part of the original's page to them.

@medacris: @Praxis: Jeff already declared that doppelganger characters are to be combined.

Interestingly, Jeff was the one who deleted the two minigames I listed, three hours after I posted this.

That makes it all the more irritating that both Layton pages were allowed to coexist.

@Dagbiker: Jeff forbade alternate versions of characters, i.e., Evil Ryu should not have a page because he is still just Ryu. Dark Bowser is neither Bowser nor the Dark Star, and should not be an alias for either.

Dark Bowser isn't quite Bowser, but Shadow Labrys isn't quite Labrys either. And Jeff deleted that.

Shadows in the Persona series are presented as aspects of a person's psyche, though, a literal part of that person, whereas Dark Bowser is an entirely different entity that was simply based on Bowser's DNA, just like Dark Samus is not Samus, but a combination of Phazon and her DNA. It doesn't seem directly comparable to me.
