Delete the now-cancelled Wii U releases for Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Request a fix for RELEASE issues here!
going back to the issue with not being able to edit aliases anymore... is it possible to re-allow this feature as a points unlock (like for 20 thousand)? I understand it's to punish the bad apples, but for the more senior wiki editors, this really is a hindrance, and dampens the work that can be done.

someone clearly didn't realize that the DSiWare release has its own page ... delete those please.

just a reminder, this still hasn't been taken care of.
We currently have on file release info for Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madoshi which is for the wrong game in the series.

http://www.giantbomb.com/space-quest-iii-the-pirates-of-pestulon/3030-2228/releases/#toc-release-98965
There is already a release (just below this one in the link above, with more info) to serve as the original PC release of Space Quest III. The release in the link above can therefore be deleted.

Or you could just change the date to 1994 and country to UK and enrich the GB wiki instead of deleting it :) (which I already did but remember that for future reference)

Delete all PlayStation 2 releases, the games are included as an extra which does not count as a new release of the game.

Delete all PlayStation 2 releases, for the same reason as above.

Delete the American release of Metal Gear Solid 4, including the online content does not make it a release of the standalone Metal Gear Online.
To delete: All releases other than the NES one (I tried marking them all DELETE but I keep erroring out).
The article makes it perfectly clear that the NES version is completely different than the arcade/other console version, but someone saw it fit to try to stick all of the other releases into that one.
Thanks for your help.
Why is there a 3DO release for Zeno Clash 2? o_o
Why is there a 3DO release for Zeno Clash 2? o_o
Because it's the default platform selected and if someone forgets to select a platform during the submission process, we get 3DO releases. There really should be a verification process that checks if a platform has been specified instead of simply selecting the first in the list ...
Vectorman: Remove GameCube, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 releases, please (these are all compilations).
Thank you.

delete all PSP/PS2/Wii and DS releases as these are separate games that have their own wiki pages as discussed here: http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/delete-combine-requests-34/combine-transformers-revenge-of-the-fallen-1448296/#3.

why not just change the platform to one of the numerous options that is getting a release of the game and doesn't have one yet? changed to wii u. no need to delete.
@def: The last time I tried to edit releases, I was told they were unapprovable, but not rejected. It left me with the impression that it was something only mods could do, so I haven't bothered to fill in that type of information again. Maybe I just misunderstood the issue before
@mildmolasses: Probably, since anyone can edit releases.Maybe you tried that during a buggy phase.
Just a question: Should XCOM: Enemy Within be listed for PC and Mac? It seems like it's only going to be a standalone entity for consoles; for PC and Mac it will just be DLC...
There were quite a few release entries that duplicate an existing entry, but includes a retailer like Steam or GOG as part of the title. I changed the platform/region for a bunch of them (mostly ones that were really cluttering up the New Games page), but I couldn't find anything to change these to.
The following pages have releases ending in "(Steam)" that should be deleted.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
The Bureau
War Thunder
Total War: Rome II
Spelunky
Tomb Raider
Divekick has a "(Steam)" entry AND an extra US PS4 entry that should be deleted.
http://www.giantbomb.com/the-night-of-the-rabbit/3030-41730/releases/ has a "(GOG)" entry
http://www.giantbomb.com/inquisitor/3030-39563/releases/ has a "(GOG)" Entry
Sorry there are so many.
Someone created a completely inaccurate "alexandros" release for Final Fantasy XIV. I don't know if it was meant as a joke or just an amazingly off-base mistake, but that particular release should be deleted.

Now that the Xbox Live Marketplace has been changed to the Xbox Games Store (and covers both systems' digital releases, if I understand correctly), I'm requesting that the LocoCycle Xbox One release be deleted (I've submitted an Xbox Games Store release that's pending as of writing this). I haven't checked any other games, but I'd wager there are more releases in a similar situation, unfortunately.
@sanryd: Jeff has previously said that the Xbox One platform will cover both retail and digital games, so I do not think adding them to the Xbox Games Store platform is the intention. You're right in that that the current Xbox Games Store platform writeup seems to suggest differently though, and is something that needs to be clarified ASAP. And even then, the name itself is a problem, since many will be adding games to it without reading the text. At the very least it should take a page from the PSN platforms and be changed to Xbox Game Store (360).

All these releases were cancelled except the iOS ones.
Mystical Ninja starring Goemon: Nintendo 3DS eShop and Game Boy Color releases should be scrubbed. These are completely different games from the N64 title.

I moved them to N64 and renamed them DELETE so they don't mess up the wiki header by forcing the platforms in there

Thumbs up, mate.
Please remove the "DELETE ME PLEASE" release from Adventure Island IV. It used to be a compilation release.

please delete the obviously titled release here. we need a banner on that page that tells people that this isn't the western release and that they should please stop adding it again and again (seeing as I had a delete request for this already and it's been added again)

The Action Max release is quite obviously a troll/bot entry (might want to look into disciplinary action on the editor in this case as well)
