Please rename the Kamaitachi no Yoru page to "Banshee's Last Cry" since that is its official English name and add the previous title as an alias. Thank you.
Wait really? That's the English name they're going for? That's bizarre.
Speaking of English names, Bills --> Beerus (official English name)
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate -> aliases:
Monster Hunter 4G
MH4U
MH4G
Rename:
Elektra -> Electra
Shadow Fighter -> Shadow
Patric Zimmerman should have Patric Laine added as an alias, since he's credited as such in the original Metal Gear Solid.
Rename: Norn9: Norn + Nonette to NORN9: Norn + Nonette
Why: The title is supposed to be in caps: proof
Rename: Glass Heart Princess:PLATINUM to Glass Heart Princess: PLATINUM
Why: There needs to be a space.
Thank you! :)
Please rename the company Caual Labs to "Casual Labs", as this idiot left the S out of Casual when adding the company to the wiki last night!
Sorry.
Erunaaku No Zaihou should have Elnark no Zaihou as an alias, since that's what it's listed under on GameFAQs.
New York City game add aliases:
NYC: The Big Apple
N.Y.C.: The Big Apple
(Names in other territories, differently stylized.)
(rename) Short Peace: Tsukigime Ranko no Ichiban Nagai Hi -> Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day (official English name)
(rename) Mind 0 -> Mind Zero (official English name)
Denpa Ningen no RPG 3 -> rename: The Denpa Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll
move current title to alias, delete current alias because it's now part of the proper English title
Please rename the Short Peace: Tsukigime Ranko no Ichiban Nagai Hi page to "Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day" since that is its official English name and add the previous title as an alias. Thank you.
Aliases, please.
Miyu --> Miyuki Kuroi
Masa --> Maysa
MegaMan.EXE --> Hub Hikari
Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star --> Mega Man Battle Network: Operation Shooting Star
Rename as well, please.
Dr. Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack --> Dr Cossack (and add the former name as an alias, please.)
Alias removing
Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star --> remove Mega Man Battle Network 7
@halberdierv2: As far as I can tell, Operate Shooting Star never received a western release, and as such is correctly listed under its Japanese name. It should not be renamed.
@blacklagoon: sorry, that was a mistake, I meant to add that as an alias. I fixed it.
Aliases: Armor Points -> Armor Percentage, Armor Meter
Aliases: Armor Points -> Armor Percentage, Armor Meter
Armor Points aren't the same thing as percentage or meter. We have separate concept pages for Hit Points and Health. So if Armor Points gets those aliases, we should make Hit Points an alias of Health and drop the Hit Points concept.

Like I explained in the deck, the concept is for games that have a number or percentage of armor that acts like a secondary HP pool. It's not about Armor points as an RPG stat, which I think is more often called something like "armor rating".
Perhaps the page should be renamed if there is confusion with the RPG concept.
EDIT: I think I see what you're driving at now.
The reason I made Armor Points is the same reason Hit Points exists: there is a broader concept that includes it (Body Armor or Health) but this specific approach has a distinct history. Armor points/percentages/meters are all part of the same trend started by Doom (I think?) where armor is a resource that depletes. Hit points are indeed different from health meters and such, but in terms of armor there is no difference worth noting between meters or percentages and straight numbers.
Alias time: Little Red Hood --> Black Forest Tale (this is the name used in the handheld versions)
Chuck Norris Superkicks --> Kung Fu Superkicks: Pursuit of the Ninja (Telegames rerelease name)
rename Tomodachi Collection 3DS -> Tomodachi Collection: Shin Seikatsu
alias: Tomodachi Collection: New Life
Add the following aliases
Battle Bears Gold -> Battle Bears Royale
SkyVu Entertainment -> SkyVu Pictures
Benjamin Vu -> Ben Vu
Saberi -> Combat Tech
Botch -> Assassin
B-1000 -> Assault
Name change: Ei Yotsuki --> Ay
Ei is another way of reading his name in kana, but Ay is officially how it's spelled in the western releases of the games. I think the English-language manga by Viz might use Ei, but don't quote me on that.
The Yotuski part doesn't make any sense, since there's only one member of the Yotsuki clan shown in the series, and he was such a minor character that he didn't even get a first name.
Change Ironhide Games Studio -> Ironhide Game Studio, as is shown on their logo and webpage.
alias please.
Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation --> Mega Man Battle Network 4.5 Real Operation
Alias: The Hero -> Sparrow, Hero of Oakvale, Hero of Bowerstone, Hero of Brightwall, Old Hero King, Old Hero Queen
Alias: The Sun at Night -> Laika Believes: The Sun at Night
Couple of misspelled DC character names to correct:
Arisa Rrab ---> Arisia Rrab
Impluse ---> Impulse
Here's a big one.
Windows Phone to Windows Store
Since the games on the Windows phone are now also on Windows 8 OS, Windows Phone does not work and the marketplace for apps on Windows is called Windows Store.
I know IOS is categorize by Phone, Tablet, and Ipod but that's a poor system since most games are on Phone and Tablet and in the near future more devices will probably play the same games.
(rename) Yu-Nama: The Puzzle G -> No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! (official English title)
Done up to here.
I've not touched the Windows Phone platform. As far as I know the Windows Phone Store and desktop/RT Windows Store are still separate entities.
I know that not all Windows Phone apps are the same as the Windows 8 apps. I still use a Windows Phone 7 and a lot of what is there is not on Windows 8.
needs the Famicom Remix 2 alias. and obviously NES Remix 1+2 needs the same treatment.
(rename) Arcadias no Ikusahime -> Battle Princess of Arcadias (official English name)
(rename) Makai Senki Disgaea 4: Return -> Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited (official English name)
(rename) Super Dangan Ronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen -> Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Dispair (official English name)
(rename) Kami Jigen Idol Neptune PP -> Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection (official English name)
(rename) Dangan Ronpa -> Danganronpa (official English spelling)
Anyway, I the Japanese titles should be kept as aliases. Marino always does this, but other mods don't, so I guess I should mention it here.
alias: Darumeshi Sports Store & Darumeshi Sports Shop
alias: Pokémon Link Battle! & Pokemon Link Battle!
Kwirk should have the alias Puzzle Boy (and perhaps Puzzle Boys), since that's the name it was released under in Japan.
alias: Rental Bukiya de Omasse
Pokémon Trozei (game)alias:Pokemon Link! &Pokémon Link!
alias:Pokemon Link!&Pokémon Link!
Naminé should have Namine as an alias, because not all of us can type those accents (fucking Chrome).
@video_game_king: I think that's more a bug in the search. Since the redesign it should handle accents and other character variants transparently without the need for aliases.

That's not the case, though.
@hailinel: Well, I admit I don't have any experience with exactly how the search handled this just prior to getting all messed up due to the recent code merge. I do know I tested it on the Seaserpent beta site before the CBSi redesign launched (I did in fact post about that on the very first page of this thread), and there character variants were handled transparently by the search. That would be the preferred behavior IMO, making this a bug.

Moderators like Marino are still adding unaccented aliases to character pages that they themselves create. And even if it is a bug that unaccented characters aren't recognized, that doesn't negate the need for the aliases until a day such recognition actually works.
EDIT: And now for an actual request of my own.
Rename: Samanosuke Akechi > Hidemitsu Akechi
The character Samanosuke in the Onimusha series is based on the historical figure Hidemitsu Akechi, who appears in other games under his real name. "Samanosuke" is just a corruption of his imperial court title "Sama-no-suke". Samanosuke Akechi should remain an alias.
Alias: Multiplayer Scoreboard -> In-Game Scoreboard, Player Scoreboard, Display Scores
