Why aren't people modding images?

Why aren't people modding images? at the beginning almost everybody was doing it. now it only says "you are it buddy!"

Well usually there are like 4 images to mod, so there's not much reason to.

Lack of images coming through? I swing by every once in a while, but I never see too much in the queue. And after hitting 50k a month(maybe two) ago with a promised scoreboard yet to be implemented, I just don't care.

I try. I'm image moderating quite a bit. But often there just aren't many images that need to be moderated.

See? This is what happens when there are too many of us moderating. We finish too quickly. And then we all leave as another huge batch of images is surely on the way in.

I'm simply too lazy.

thank goodness i have over a 1000 points if not we all would be moderating 60 images of a figure skating game (that looks pretty neat actually)

I used to, but then I just got totally bored with it.

Zero pending images probably has something to do with it!  There are only 125 in the regular submissions queue with a current turnaround time of 22 hours.

The majority of people who make regular major edits (both image uploads and wiki edits) will be over 1000 points by now, so the number of submissions that need modding will have dramatically reduced, so there is less need for people to be modding images, so less people do it.
