1. Elder Scrolls 6
2. Last of Us 2
3. Cyberpunk
4. Divinity OS 2 on ps4
This is tough, because some are out in a few months anyway. Like Last of Us 2 - I'm pretty sure i know what that game will be like. Others are just a name (Elder Scrolls VI)
My list though:
Ghosts of Tsushima
Cyberpunk 2077
Fallout 76 - even though this is out fairly soon, I want to know what the heck it actually is like - is it Fallout enough that I'll enjoy it?
Control
Easiest question I've thought about in some time!
Death stranding, sekiro and cyberpunk are far far far above anything else on my radar after this e3 with resident evil 2 (surprisingly) following behind and then maybe as runner-ups Dmc5, Control, ghost of tsushima and the last of us 2 because those looked cool too but didn't necessarily get my heart racing like the others I mentioned.
Cyberpunk
Control
Resi 2 Remake
Hitman 2
After seeing some Control gameplay it's shot right up my list. The game looks bang up my alley with that sci-fi action movie feel. Resi 2 also looks like an actual remake, meaning it'll be interesting to play even though I've beaten the old version a few times.
The Elder Scrolls VI would easily have been my number 1 if you hadn't banned it, knocking Ghost of Tsushima off. Starfield could even have snuck in, potentially. Not sure over what though.
Cyberpunk is easily number one.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 second so I can actually find out what the hell it is.
Control third, because I really liked Alan Wake, but couldn't play Quantum Break, so I'm just glad Remedy isn't MS exclusive right now.
Picking a fourth is kinda hard, but I think I'll go with Kingdom Hearts III, just because.
Edit: Just remembered Spider-Man. It would probably have to be my fourth instead of Kingdom Hearts.
1: The Last of Us Part 2
2: Spider Man
3: Shadow of the Tomb raider
4: Cyberpunk 2077
Honorable 5th place mentions: Gears Tactics, Gears 5, Ghost of Tsushima, Control
1. Cyberpunk 2077 (with a bullet)
2. Death Stranding (I want to know what that thing actually is)
3. Ghost of Tsushima (This was a pleasant surprise, and Techu/Dark Souls seems potentially interesting)
Cyberpunk 2077
Sekiro
Ghost of Tsushima
Finding a fourth is tough, in a good way. Elder Scrolls VI would be the best answer, but we didn't actually see it. I'd say Ori, because I've been wanting to play the first one, but don't own an XBox. Maybe Metro, though I've not dipped my toe into that series, either.
To be honest Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI are probably near the top in terms of "I just want to know what these are!" but playing along with more tangible stuff:
1. Cyberpunk 2077- Yeah it's just easy to imagine the studio's style of game in that setting being a whole lot of fun.
2. Resident Evil 2- My personal most effective trailer this year; wasn't excited about this beforehand, now I'm super down for old-school scary zombie action.
3. Death Stranding- Still enigmatic, but starting to feel more like a tangible game now.
4. Ghost of Tsushima- Still need to see more of the game's structure and not sold on how good the combat will be, but this could be dream game if Sucker Punch nails it, and Sucker Punch is a quality studio.
Other honorable mentions: Devil May Cry 5, Fallout 76, Sekiro, Dragon Quest XI, Fist of the North Star
Any game regardless of what console you own? Ok:
Cyberpunk 2077
Ghosts of Tsushima
Spider Man
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
1. Ghost of Tsushima
2. Devil May Cry 5
3. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
4. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
5. Assassin's Creed Odyssey
1. Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Depending on if it's getting the Fire Emblem Fates treatment, I hope they let you do an evil campaign and not just you're on a slightly evil-ish side and the main character is a friggen dope good guy aka Corrin.)
2. TES VI (even though it was just a title drop)
3. Dragon's Quest XI (I don't own a PS4 however)
4. Cyberpunk 2077 (I wasn't interested until I knew more about it)
1. Cyberpunk 2077- This one seems pretty unanimous, it's hitting all the right vibes right now
2. Resident Evil 2 Remake - Between the timing mechanics on the reticle aiming and the frequent need for a flashlight in dark areas this game might bridge the gap some between the RE4 style games with more enjoyable controls and the other RE games that have a bit more focus on tension and atmosphere
3. Gears Tactics - Another game that helps scratch that XCOM itch is really appealing
4. Doom Eternal - Yes more Doom (2016) please
Cyberpunk 2077 almost made my top 4, but I've never really been into any of the Witcher games from my time with them; THIS game, however, has such incredible promise and looks so up my alley. I just need to see some slices of gameplay at this point.
1.Cyberpunk 2077
2. Metro Exodus
3. Stormland VR
4. Fallout 76
Very curious about Death Stranding though.
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- Super Smash Bros Ultimate
-Dreams (This thing looks crazy awesome!)
Very honorable mention: My Friend Pedro
DMC5
DOA6 (wasn't shown but is present)
Trials Rising
My Friend Pedro.
E3 was kinda meh, i was looking forward to most of these games before the show.
I'm interested to see if Halo Infinite is better than the other Halos, i didn't like The Last of Us so skip, i don't like Sucker Punch games and Tsushima looks iffy, Sekiro looks like more Dark Souls which i'm burnt out on, Cyberpunk could be good we just don't know yet, apparently the shooting needs work which is important as its a first person shooter, Anthem looks dreadful, i hate Battlefield, not sold on Beyond Good and Evil 2, The Division 2 is probably good but their talk focused on end game content which is worrying, after the s*** show that was Just Cause 3, Rage 2 and Just Cause 4 are going to have to do a lot to impress me, Gears 5 looks depressing, RE2 looks good, but i like the action RE games so i'm less interested, i still don't like the reboot Lara Croft, i have issues with some of the design decisions in DOOM so i'm cautious of Do Me Ternal, i hope Ace Combat 7 isn't terrible.
Oh, i'm desperate to know more about The Quiet Man.
In no specific order:
1) Ghost of Tsushima … the samurai game I've been waiting for since I first saw Yojimbo
2) The Last of Us Part II … I basically want more of the same, that's all, no need to re-invent the wheel
3) Spider-Man … looks super-fun, Spider-Man games are the best Marvel-games in my opinion, I've enjoyed the last 7 or so
4) Days Gone … for me this is the ultimate zombie-game fantasy, it combines the things I enjoy the most from all other zombie games… plus the whole bike-thing, which is awesome
