What insane races have you made?

I was crazy and sprung for the Ultimate edition so I could play over the weekend. Been making races and have three in a series called Bad Ideas. I renamed one of them "This Was the Worst Idea." I did that because I just unlocked the Reliant Supervan III and the race in question is in the outback, and almost entirely offroad. It became the "worst" idea because it is at night and raining heavily.

I really should rename it to "This is the 'Best' Idea" because it is a ton of fun and I don't even care that I lost.

Anyway, what nightmares have you released on the Forza Horizon 3 Community?

Ha, that Reliant race sounds great.

I went a bit more traditional and made a high-speed run on the freeway by the outback with the GTS-class Corvette. I left traffic on, so it's a pretty intense bit of dodging cars at 170+ mph for a few miles, and I posted a time that's only beatable if you hit absolutely nothing because I'm an asshole.

Whoever discovers the Mill Cross Country Circuit in Verra Valley: I'm so sorry; I had to do it.

5 laps on the Goliath circuit, then running out of gas after 20 minutes. ?

@voodoopc: You can run out of gas in this game?

I made a blueprint where you are in a very slow car and you have to drive halfway across the map to a drift zone. Then you have to drift and the car in question is just awful for drifting. I scored like 2,000 drift points.

I named it "not fun".

Not a race, but a bucket list challenge:

- Speed trap with a Lamborghini Huracán HE upgraded to 999, reach 313 km/u after going through Byron Bay (I should redo this one with an 999 Aventador for a 400+km/u goal).

- Night + heavy rain.

- Verdi: Requiem - 'Dies Irae' as music.

What is this feature and what does "making" races involve?

I made a race with 50 laps at night in the rain with track toy cars on a 100% dirt track. Which has lots of jumps and sharp turns. I couldn't finish it.

@isomeri: With simulation damage you can run out of gas. Your car starts to die and then you just sit there and can't move. The higher end race cars run out of gas after about 7-8 minutes with the way I race.

@dgtlty: After a certain point, you get a "blueprint" option when starting a race which allows you to set the parameters for the course. Things like weather, time of day, type of car, whether or not rewind is available, number of laps on circuit races. You unfortunately cannot make the race take a different route, but it's still good fun.

@voodoopc: Weird. I've not encountered that yet, even during a 20+ minute tour of the Goliath Circuit I created. Then again, you said "after 20 minutes", so maybe I was just lucky by a minute or so.

@isomeri: Using the Horizon Edition Lamborghini I couldn't make it one 10 minute lap around the Goliath before running out of gas. Maybe someone is siphoning gas from me!

25 lap race on Goliath circuit. Not exactly creative, but definitely insane.
