2+ years of waiting, ruined by the stupidest design decision.....

That's all that needs to be said. It completely negates THE ENTIRE REASON WHY YOU LET PEOPLE MOVE AROUND IN 3D SPACE. I've been an unabashed nuthugger of Level 5 games since Dark Cloud 2, and they come out with THIS? Amazing. Anyone who tries to rationalize or explain why this is a good move is fooling themselves. It flies in the face of the very laws of nature.
 
Thank you GameRang, for allowing me to play this for just long enough to witness the ridiculousness. I feel terrible for people who paid $60 plus tax.

if this is going to stop you from buying a fantastic game then you dont deserve playing it. also it doesnt even happen after the while time i have played it.

I'm having this problem too. What the fuck. Why aren't the mods moving these threads to their corresponding forums in the interim?

I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the reviews White Knight Chronicles has been getting.  I certainly wasn't expecting 9.0s across the board or anything, but damn.  I'm glad that I didn't rush off to buy it day one.
 
Who'd have thought that Demon's Souls would widely be perceived as the better game?

Considering Dark Cloud 1 and 2 were so amazing, it's a shame Level 5 has since sunk into mediocrity.
