$30 Dollars to spend on Steam. What to get?

Hey I got an extra 30 bucks to spend on steam and I was wondering what you guys think I should get? I haven't been playing any games in a while because of work, school etc., and was looking for a great game to play on this labor day. I was thinking either Left 4 Dead 2 or Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Left 4 Dead 2 is a great choice.

When it comes to Steam, Defcon always gets my vote. But if you've got friends to play with L4D is always good too.

I'd wait until later today and see what the sale is, you never know what's going to be on sale.

Dragon Age is great if you don't already have it. Bad Company 2 is also great if you don't already have it. Both have fairly high hardware requirements, though.

The Company Of Heroes complete pack is super cheap right now if you're quick.

they just had a company of heroes sale, game and both expansions for 11.50euros. but from what you said, easily left 4 dead 2, its an amazing game

Don't buy TF2 =/ If you're going to get TF2, then get the Orange Box.
 
Also, Devil's Playhouse is good.

I'd say Left 4 Dead 2, or Borderlands, or Mass Effect 2, or any of the Introversion games.
 
Oh! Or Stalker: Call of Pripyat. That's a fantastic game, and it's the first stalker game that's not horrifically fucking broken and crashtastic!

Mount & Blade, or Tropico 3

Red Orchestra 41-45 is pretty fun.

chime + left 4 dead

Amnesia would be a good choice I think. Would leave you with a bit of money to spend on a second game as well.
