60$ for Rage or Dark souls?

What are you guys picking up next week? I can't decide!

What does your heart tell you?

Dark Souls then Ace Combat first. I would like to play RAGE since it's an id game but I'm burnt out on FPS at this point, maybe some other time.

My heart says Batman comes out the 18, so whatever I pick better be finished.

I went with Dark Souls as it has a nice pre-order special edition and crazy online stuff whereas I'm only interested in sp in Rage so I'll wait till the drought next summer to play it.

Since both seems to incur Anger, I'd pick RAGE. It looks cool.

@Alucard_N7: Rage first for me. I don't think there is a way for us to help you make your decision.. if you have no clear favourite yet, roll a dice or toss a coin? :) You probably can't go wrong with either of them.

Dark Souls! Demon's Souls is my favourite PS3 game and I've played so many shooters lately.

If given the choice, I'd pick Dark Souls, but those games are very different Your tastes could easily push you the other way.

If I were to buy either of those, Dark Souls. I already have enough FPS games.

Dark Souls. Don't need more FPSes currently.

Wait till the reviews come out?

You get Deus Ex for $40 because you wait a month before you play anything and save a ton of money.

Dark Souls for sure, but I won't be paying $60 for it. Going to wait to see if I can come across a deal or something.

Dark Souls can potentially give you many times the amount of playtime RAGE has to offer, easily. Or you can get tired of the game in a matter of minutes. It really depends on what kind of person you are. If you like needing a methodical and slow approach to play a game, go for Dark Souls. If you prefer what seems to be a very good FPS (but an FPS still...), get RAGE.

Rage easily, but thats not really fair since Rage is one of my most wanted games this year, and I have 0 interest in Dark Souls :/

I'm getting both. Whenever DS gets too frustrating I'll just play Rage for a little bit to blow of steam. Perfect match.

go with dark souls. rage looks good but you know the gameplay and AI will be weak as hell. Remember how terrible Doom 3 was.

Id makes great tech, but they are not good at game design.

Already ordered Dark Souls. No interest in Rage.

Dark Souls first, but I'll be getting Rage eventually.  I get the feeling that Rage would have been better off with a spring or summer release date.

Even though I am hopefully getting both of them, I would easily go with Rage. Dark Souls looks a lot like Demons Souls, which I have already put a good bit of time into. Rage looks a lot like a mix of Borderlands and Fallout 3, a mix that very much appeals to my tastes.

Rage first. Dark souls has it's dark hooded cult followers here. However, I am intrigued by Dark Souls, also. Maybe at a Steam Sale(One can only hope, if not, PS3)

I would pick up Dark Souls, but there's just too many good games coming out in the next weeks or months, so i need to take priorities. If i had $60 laying around i would totally purchase Dark Souls on day one. But as for now i need to wait a little on it.

For Rage - While the game looks good, it's still an FPS, which i have not much of an interest lately due to the overflood of the genre.

I'm getting Enslaved: Odyssey of the West :D (Am I doing it wrong)

I'm probably going to pick up Assassin's Creed, Batman, and Battlefield 3 (for console, I know) this fall. There's so much coming out that I'm just letting most things slide until next year.

Rage there are only two other games like it (Doom and Quake).

Why not just buy them both?

I just read the review(very high) of Dark Souls at Ign...yep, fits my image..heh. Now I await the claims of(I beats it in 4 hours...)Boy is this game going to bring out a tidal wave of nerd!

@ShadowSkill11: That's around $600 worth of games within months. Either you are spoiled, won a lottery or have a good job. Whatever the reason i want my feet in your shoes.

I think Rage is going to be pretty good. I would go with Rage.

Dark Souls. I've only watched a few of the videos of rage, and it just seems like another run of the mill shooter to me. Albeit a good run of the mill shooter.

Definitely Dark Souls. The quick look totally sold me on it.

Dark souls is already in the process of being delivered to my front door. Rage looks cool but atm i want the spiritual successor to my favorite ps3 game more..
