Which games do you guys think still look great years after their release.
(The game(s) should be at least a year old. Sep 2010 backwards.
my games are:
1. Heavenly sword-For an early PS3 title the graphics in this game hold up pretty well.
2. Prince of persia(2008) -This game's art style makes it just as beautiful now as when it was released.
______Years later and it still looks good
Max Payne 2 PC (2003} love the sharp textures.
FEAR PC (2005) Great effects and levels design love the office ones the most.
8 years later, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker still looks wonderful. This is what immediately came to mind.
For me Conker Live and Reloaded,Team Fortress 2, Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, and Viva Pinata still look great because of their art styles. My friends thought Conker was a new 360 game when I was playing it last year.
3rd Strike Online...
12 years later still looks alright.
God of War 2, MGS3, and ZOE2 from the PS2.
Okami and Wind Waker.
For me it would be any game that went more for art style then just graphic fidelity alone. Not that some games like Crysis still don't look great, I just feel artistic style keeps better overall. For example, early PS1 games trying to be on the cutting edge of graphics looks horrible, my god, the blocky people.

Mega Man Zero 4.
Actually, a whole lot of later hand drawn 2D games still look great. Pick up a DS and put something like Castlevania or Mega Man ZX in it. We really need more 2D games.
By the way, Just Cause 2 still outclasses the draw distance of pretty much any game I've ever laid eyes on. Going to one of the top farthest corners of the (massive) skybox and looking around reveals not only a very pretty and peaceful scene but also what appears to be a programming marvel. I understand that several tricks are going on there (the tree leaves are 2D and move with you), but it still looks really good.
Also, for all its fallacies Far Cry 2 is still a very pretty game. The original is no slouch either.
The original Gears of War is still good-looking.
Dragonball Z Budokai 3. Or, pretty much any cel-shaded game still looks good. I don't see why the technique isn't used more.
Metroid Prime 1 and 2 both look great. If they were ever bumped up to HD resolutions and given anti-aliasing, they could easily be mistaken for a modern game. They look great even in regular AV.
God of War 1 and 2 made it to PS3 and still looked pretty damn good on there.
I'm running out.
EDIT: 2 more come to mind: Crash Bandicoot Warped and Jak 3. Naughty Dog is really good at dragging power out of a console, kicking and screaming, and both of those games still look great. Crash Warped still looks wondrously discernible and very crisp, and the environments are no slouch either. Jak 3 has a bit of screen tearing, admittedly, but for the most part its bustling cities and huge vistas are still a sight to behold.
Nostalgia is kicking in!
I haven't played it, but I've been trying to learn about pixel art and Secret of Mana 3 is freaking beautiful.
Doom3's lighting effects and muzzle flares surpass anything we have now, blame the lack of memory our consoles have.

Half-Life 2
Guess it doesn't count, but I know I'll feel this way in the future: SMGalaxy 2.
Team Fortress 2.
The fire in Far cry 2 still looks good to this day and i also agree that 2D games from past consoles still look great e.g. Klonoa 2(PS2)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was amazing looking then, and if it came out today, I would not say that it has poor graphics. It even had dynamic water effects, and most games nowadays don't even have that.

9 Years later Metroid Prime looks great.Let's face it , the Gamecube rocks !!!!! Anyone ?
14 years and Yoshi's story still looks good.
This answer is the best answer.
This is probably subjective, but I think the original Halo still looks really nice. The framerate stays silky smooth through out, and there's just a nice sense of movement to the way that game functions. I never felt like the series was as graceful as Combat Evolved after the art-direction shift in Halo 2.
Street Fighter III, Dodonpachi and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night look bloody amazing and were released 14 years ago. Then we have Battle Garegga and Metal Slug from 15 years ago, Rayman and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island from 16 years ago, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood from 18 years ago, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from 20 years ago...
I'm pointedly ignoring most games from the last four or five years because I still consider those to be essentially new-ish. Still love the way Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, and Full Throttle look. Same with Quest for Glory IV, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 1-3, A Link to the Past, and Leisure Suit Larry 6 & 7. In terms of more modern games, I'm strangely fond of the way Silent Storm has held up.
I agree with what people have said earlier: The Wind Waker is still one of the prettiest games of all time, 8 years later.
20 years later Another World still looks great.
I think any game with cel shading holds up longer than others. Borderlands looks great and so does Wind Waker.
