A Big Live Live Reminder For Premium Members

Hey guys, the Big Live Live Show is nearly upon us. It'll be starting on Friday morning at 10AM Pacific Daylight Time, and we've got a full day of stuff lined up for you, including the exclusive premium second stream, which, if I'm reading this show rundown correctly, will feature a whole lot of Dave bein' Dave.

But let's get a little housekeeping out of the way here, before the show begins. For those of you who joined us on the original launch date of September 9, your re-billing date is coming up tomorrow. Why September 12? Well, remember when Amazon exploded and you were without a website for that chunk of time? We credited everyone with a few extra days.

So in light of that, it's a good time to remind you of how to make changes to your account. This is handy if you've got an expired credit card that you need to update before the re-billing occurs, among other things. If you need to know your expiration date, you can find it right here on your history page. Keep in mind that, if you are an annual subscriber, this renewal will also generate you a new $15 store code, good for goods and services that include our brand-new 2013 membership shirt, shown here:

If you're worried about your favorite design selling out before you get a code, don't be! We've made some changes to our merchandise process that make these designs slightly less limited than they've been in the past, so there should be more than enough for everybody.

Bought a premium membership the first chance I got when my financial situation allowed for it. Best $50 I ever spent, especialy after enjoying all the free content here for countless hours. Really looking forward to this year's installment of the Big Live Live Show.

@Jeff: Do you know anything about some people's renewal dates being pushed to September 22nd or 23rd last year? I don't quite remember how that happened, but I do remember emailing Dave and he told me that they gave a few extra days for whatever reason (not the amazon thing).

I wish you would make easier to know how to cancel the automatic billing.

Can't wait to have DUAL streams. Will be so much awesome. Sucks I don't get a shirt because I renewed early but... I also only paid $35 so... can't complain.

I'd prefer to be on the monthly option because (a) it lets me give you more money, and (b) I wouldn't even notice $5 deducting from my account each month so it'd be an easy way to support the site. Win-win, I'd think. But I would prefer to not see ads, and you can't opt out of them on the monthly plan.

Is there any way you guys would reconsider how the plans are broken down? I feel like the monthly option would be preferable for you guys but I'm not sure why I'd be a second class citizen for showing more support for the site (silver avatar medallion and all!)

@sirchode: I imagine that this is because most silver members only sign up for the one month to see a few of the premium videos and then unsubscribe. Giving the same benefits as the people who've paid more to stay subscribed for an entire year would be a bit unfair. Even if there's a few users like yourself who're actually paying more, I'm certain that you're in the minority.

I have to pay with paypal this year. I want the membership new shirt. Paypal membership option offers the old shirt. I am disappoint.

Didn't really need a reminder because there's been a unkillable/returning bar across the top of my screen for about a month saying "HEY, GIVE US MONEY!" oh, and the constant emails...

Seeing as I'm being a total whiner and I'm in a really bad mood today... If I buy a new T-shirt design and never receive it, will it take about ten years to get a "I'll look into it" with no updates and the rest of my emails ignored? And still end up with no refund or T-shirt...cool, great...

I agree, the logo looks like it's for a Petrol Station or something. It's not representative of Giant Bomb at all.
