a problem with my profile

sort of, anyway. 
 
I made a profile, ages ago.  When I tried to log into it recently, I couldn't. 
 
I thought, "ok, whatever", and made a new, paid account with a new email (this one)., after my email to one of the site staff got no response.
 
now, though, I can't link my 360 achievements to my profile, because they're already linked to my old one (littledreamer) 
 
I know that this is almost definitely the wrong place to ask about this, but I'm not even really sure who I'd ask to fix this for me 
 
it's not that big a deal I guess, but I was kinda proud of my Assassin's Creed II S-rank. :/

Sounds like the main problem is that you can't login to your old account. Do you have any idea why? If you can't remember your password, the Lost Password link should help, if it's something else, detail the problem here and we'll see if we can sort it out. 
 
Once we've got you back in to your old account, you should be able to disassociate your 360 account from it and attach it to this account.

I tried using the lost password feature, but it wouldn't recognize my email address for some reason.

oh!  wait I just remembered something. 
 
I used the old facebook sign-up feature.  I might not even have entered an e-mail, now I think about it

problem solved.

I was literally just about to post the instructions to get a password for a FB connect account, but it seems you've found them yourself. Once you've got a password, you should be able to login and remove the gamertag easily, and then add it to your current account.
