Abby is fucking great. GBE in general is fucking great. Didn't think anything could come close to the Ryan/Jeff/Vinny/Brad/Patrick(/Drew) glory days of old but damn if Vinny/Alex/Dan/Jeff/Abby aren't making a play for it. In fact I'm a little scared she fits in too well, the last time someone was this much of a natural they got poached to start their own website :(

Abby is the greatest hire of Giant Bomb's relatively short history. To let her go would be crazy. Hope she's on for a long time!

I was real worried about her when she came onboard. She has very quickly become a really great addition to the team, and someone who balances out Dan’s madness. I’m glad she’s around.

Echo so much of what has been entered here, the way Abby has quickly gelled individually and collectively with the rest of the team has brought a new vibrancy to the content and I think even to the rest of the squad. The times I've had to stop my walk home from work on a Friday Evening to avoid collapsing in hysterics while listening to the Beastcast, is reason enough to download and listen to that pod. She's reminded me that to play video games is to have fun.

Well, excluding her blinding hatred for stories in video games, she's pretty alright! I'm very much looking forwards to what she has to offer for the GoTY videos this year.

Abby is easily one of my favourite member's of GB and has kindled a new flame within the site due to her inherent talents. She has amazing natural instincts for comedic timing and improv; has a great intelligent, level-headed approach to games and game critique; and she has already created a legacy of content that has gotten me through some hard times both in the past and recently.

Go Abby!

To say people are laying it on a little thick would be an understatement.

Abby is awesome.

In my opinion, she has been the best addition to the crew since Dan Ryckert (sorry Ben - love you, too, buddy).

She has been quickly becoming one of my favorite duders (I love all the duders but my personal favorites are Jeff, Vinny, and Dan - especially the combo of the 3 together on any stream - probably why I have been enjoying Murder Island so much - honestly the best combo since Jeff, Ryan, and Vinny), but after listening to hundreds of hours of BEASTCasts, watching hours of Steal My Sunshine, and hilarity on Murder Island - Abby is now someone who I hope never gets so big that she leaves like some of the other amazing Hall-of-Fame duder alumni like Drew, Patrick, and Austin.

Abby rocks! Best new hire GB has had for me personally :)

Abby is an absolute delight. I just love that there's no BS about her and she says what she thinks. Makes me appreciate the care the Giant Bomb Crew put into hiring the talent they do. Reminds me of when they hired Dan, it ended up being a massive boost to the site's content after the massive loss of Ryan.

Abby has been a fantastic addition to the team! I love her confidence and the way she's happy to talk about her opinion - much like with Drew, it feels like Abby has a slightly different perspective on things within the industry from most of the team because (while clearly a long-time fan of games) she came up more through the video production side rather than the journalism/editorial side. That's really refreshing to have around. Her willingness to jump into any situation or game and go with the flow makes her such a perfect foil for Vinny, and she has definitely found her own spot that feels uniquely hers amongst the Beast crew. Much like Ben did with the West Coast, Abby's been a breath of fresh air - but in her own special way.

Thank you for everything you've brought to GB, Abby!

In a awful year, the addition of Abby and Ben has been such a wonderful thing. Everything Abby is part of on the site is great. I wish I could watch more Six Crazy Frights, but I don't deal well with scary games.

Abby is fudging hilarious. The intro to fright or shite is sooo good.

Her yells of triumph are awesome too, that kind of excitement is always cool to see.

Abby has been a funny, amazing presence since day one.

She's also brought some much needed perspectives to GB. She's a pro follow on Twitter.

Abby is the perfect foil to Dan's blissful ig... er, learning. She's quick witted, paid attention in film school, and adds Ellen Degeneres to armies, as everyone should. GB wouldn't be half as good without her!

I do not trust her. She seems way too likeable. I hope the rest of the crew don't fall for her ploy. Mark my words, this site will turn into Giant Abby!

Wow, someone actually edited my original comment. Apparently me mentioning Abby's age compared to mine (and subsequent knowledge gap on various topics/films etc) is too much to be allowed to say?

My thoughts on Abby are best summed up by Jeff Bakalar's well known signature phrase, she's fantastic.
