I still want to play these games though, out of my passion for videogames.  :P

for 2000 dollars, you can have my 60 GB PS3 that has full backwards compatibility. =P

But yeah, your a gamer. But I would check out these games, cause you are definitely missing out.

I agree with Soulless. If you have a passion for games and gaming in general, then you're a gamer! "Gamer" is just a tag, and a tag, in my opinion, is something that  holds only as much meaning as YOU give it.

To be a gamer, all you need is your love for video games.  Thats it.

You are still a gamer. In my opinion a gamer is defined not by what he/she has played, but rather by the commitment and involvement he/she shows towards gaming. If you love to game, you are a gamer in my books.

You're a gamer TC, you just haven't played any of the popular games.  Granted only about half those games are going to seem good to you.

I enjoyed every single game you mentioned, but they're not for everyone.

You got to play that MGS series (rated Mature incase you're a kiddie, then don't play them).  Those are the real deal right there.  And since they put out the essential set (1-3 together), there's no excuse about not finding them either.  Plus 4 just came out, so there, play those first. 

After you beat all of those, you will compare every other action game you play to them.

I haven't played any of those either.

I havent played any of those becuase they are all ps titles. And I consider myself a hardcore gamer.

Am I a  gamer if i never finish most of my games before getting a newone that just came out ? I think the last time i finished a game was like 2 years ago :x, yet i keep buying games as they come out... I got like every console from nes to all new gen systems :(
