Angry Video Game Nerd

I was playing a video on gametrailers then an AVGN audio started playing over the video I was already watching. I think it was his next video as I hadn't heard it before. He was talking about the Expendables film and of course how it was a good excuse to play NES games.

Have you heard him talk about that film?

Oh I loved to watch his episodes. I wish he was as productive now as before, always makes me laugh.

Well done to him for keeping it going for so long, I remember watching his videos back in 07, that seems like an eternity ago at this point.

right now he is making the AVGN movie and cinemassacres monster madness a series of videos for halloween running during october i go to his site every week is pretty fun

Yeah, I enjoy watching his older things even though I've seen them a lot. His newer stuff is good too. Maybe it's a little more tame than his older stuff, but it's probably because he's focused on his movie.

I think the quality of his videos has been steadily declining, but I still think James is an awesome guy. I look forward to his movie.

I like his movie reviews and Monster Madness stuff more than most of his AVGN stuff. The Nintendo Power/Atari 5200 type videos are good though.

Well he's lasted longer than Nostalgia Critic so I'll give him that.

Dunno about the Expendables video. Just subscribe to his Youtube chan if you are asking about watching that video. I'm sure its there. He posted one today about his favorite monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.). He doesn't get angry and yell anymore tho so it's kind of boring.

Really looking foward to Monster Madness. As fun as the AVGN character may be, I prefer when he's just James Rolfe shooting the shit.

Guy is a font of knowledge when it comes to cult movies, horror classics and just general film knowledge. And as scornful as The AVGN character is, James Rolfe himself is very optimistic and likeable. It's as if he gets all his cynicism and hate out when he makes AVGN videos.

I am quite excited about how his AVGN movie turns out. The guy has cinematographic chops as seen in his more ambitious AVGN vids and the Rocky documentary he made.

I liked his Ghostbusters/Rocky movie feature where he tries to go to places featured in those films

Yeah is going back to talking about games. He went to far into just yelling curse words which way too many YouTube reviews did. YouTube video game reviews just turned into people yelling curse words for 20 minutes. Also he is canning the 10 minute skits which were terrible. Looking forward to more old style nerd.
