No PUBG yesterday no live podcast today. I'm starting to get scared we are heading for another "chili day"!
Any idea why there will be no live podcast today?
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Giant Bombcast will be audio-only this week. No live show, audio will post later today as usual

I'd imagine PUBG didn't happen yesterday because they just don't want to do custom games every week.
@retrometal: When Gamespot bought Giant Bomb in 2012 there was about a week of no new video content without explanation then they did a "chili day" video on the Monday.
Vinny is on vacation so it would probably would have been harder to do a PUBG stream with both coasts so they probably just called it off. If I had to guess, their mixer/caster hardware is probably broke.

@sammo21: first humble bundle now giant bomb, what has this world come to
Why are people referencing chili day and the CBS sale? That was announced over pancakes.
Unless I'm completely misremembering.

Chili day was the limbo period before their announcement. They couldn't use the old Whiskey Media office stuff anymore.
In the hospital for another day or two (everything's cool). Send me videos of all your Day 1 Monster Hunter MVC:i tech to get me through.

Some of you guys have some abandonment issues. I don't think it's productive to look at any break from routine and think "This is it! Another chilli day!"
They're streaming Destiny! Giant Bomb is ruined forever!
@thisisacooltag: Aw, bummer. Hope things go well, Jason!
Hopefully the new hire comes in soon. GBWest could use an Abby/Drew type to handle these types of unforeseen issues, but also Jason could use a break. You can tell when Vinny is overworked. Not because the product is lessened, he just has less time to participate in other cool stuff. I feel like the teams do best with 2 full time video peeps, which is obviously tricky to manage and why Abby and Ben have been a great help.
@theimmortalbum: i love that people are remembering GB events based on what was being eaten by the staff at the time, haha, it's perfect =)
Wasn't there a longer chili day stream? I remebmber dave discussing how he made his chili...
