I was a huge fan of the first Viva Pinata. I am actually looking forward to the sequel. However, there really hasnt been any buzz over it at all. SO I was wondering if the game just isnt looking very good. The footage I have seen looks pretty good, and for only 40 bucks I am definitely picking it up. But is anyone looking forward to it at all? Because lord knows I am.
Anyone excited about "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise" ?
I was listening to some "other" site's podcast today and they talked about it a little bit. They were pleasantly suprised. Sounds like a lot of people will be.
"I'm very excited.Perfect Dark Zero was ok. Not horrible, but not great.
Rare has never made a bad game.
And don't quote me and say PDZ, because PDZ was not a bad game.
People blew that shit out of proportion."
But Star Fox Adventures, now that's a crap in all its rights.
On to the topic, yeah, I'm pretty excited. Way more about this game than most others. The first one was great, I doubt they'll go wrong with it.
"sidescroller said:could not disagree with you more there, I throughly enjoyed starfox adventures, you have to appreciate it not being an all in space shooter. I bought perfect dark zero yesterday actually and quite like it, Rare have made some of the best games ever and will continue to do so in my opinion."I'm very excited.Perfect Dark Zero was ok. "Lind_L_Taylor said:"Viva what? I'm not paying $60 for that."It's actually $40. That's a great deal for this game. "
and Viva Pinata 1 is definately a good game. Definately. One of the better games this gen.
Not for everyone though. Kids, if they actually understand the game, will feel way head over heels about stuff. Very complex game (not a joke)

Quoted for truthness.
I'm absolutely looking forward to Trouble In Paradise, since I had a blast with the first game.
"Manks said:Yeah, the original was pretty complex for kids. Maintaining your garden, keeping your pinatas healthy, budgeting money, and keeping away the bad pinatas and such. It was a struggle to make everything working well in some parts for me and some adults I know that play it."Lind_L_Taylor said:"Viva what? I'm not paying $60 for that."It's actually $40. I guess that's why in VP2 they added a "kid" mode where you don't have to worry about limited money, enemies, and your pinatas getting sick. Just fun the younger audience.
