Battlefield 3 Xbox servers just crashed?

Anyone having same problems not be able to search for servers and invite friends?

All the servers across every platform are down and out, no time on fix. Really cool..

From EA: Be advised: We are seeing connectivity issues to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 back-end systems. DICE and EA are working on resolving the problem.

EA have made a bit of a pigs ear out of the servers haven't they. You'd think after the years they've had to deal with servers they'd be better at managing them.

The negative slant people put on anything EA related is amusing. They're rolling out some changes and needed to take them down, there's a post on the official forums explaining this.

One could argue that they are more skilled at shutting down servers than running them.
