So Jeff and Hanson are in NYC the same time, and he's always talking about how much he likes giant bomb.... gotta be an interview right?

Nah, they were just out there for the Nintendo event. AFAIK, GB doesn't even have a producer position open so there's nothing to interview for.

It is a well known fact that Giant Bomb tries to recruit everyone they meet. Like that time Tim Turi was on UPF and the assumption was he'd be on Quick Look duty Monday.

But no, it was just the Nintendo event. If a producer position was up, Ben does good work and he'd certainly be a qualified candidate. He's got an entertaining, quirky personality to go along with some ace production skills.

But no, Nintendo event.

Baseless speculation like this really doesn't need a thread. Nintendo were in New York. Ben and Jeff both cover video games. The more likely reason they were both in town was to cover the Nintendo event.
