Black or White Giant Bomb?

Prefer the darker colors.

Black, because it's not blinding like the white design is.

Black bomb, because it looks prettier and I'm already used to it.

if it weren't so bright i would prefer to use the white theme.

The white background seems to strain my eyes.

 
I was able to stay with white background for all of 5 minutes before changing it back.

Too many sites that are dark, I like this one, my eyes have adjusted and I prefer it.

Black is easier for me to see. But, I can see where some would be better off with white.

I am trying out the white template today. For the first hour it hurt my eyes, and now I'm getting used to it so I'll probably stick with this.

Definitely black, but I like having the option of white.

Black is beautiful, baby.  Actually, I just find it easier to read over extended time periods.  White always makes my eyes go bleary after a few paragraphs unless the font is just right.

Black bomb for the win.

White for now but I agree with those that said black is easier on the eyes. White is new though so I'll use it for a little bit.

I like white sites, but the white is TOO white. There's not enough variation in shades to make sections of the page stick out, so it just looks like a wall of white. Darker websites seem to be easier on the eyes in general, although scientific studies say the opposite. I don't think the team accounted for people having a contrast beyond 40% or something. I usually have mine about 70%. If you lower the contrast everything starts to pop out at you and then it looks ok. I say just make the grays deeper on the white layout.

The white reminds me of the new IGN forum look.  It looks clean and nicely simplistic.  I prefer the black, though.

I'm kind of switching between the two.. The main site looks pretty bad in white. However I like the forums in white.

The white really needs something to break up all the whiteness... a little more contrast. I can hardly read the grey text in the forum stuff down the bottom, either.

Who asked for the white scheme?  That doesn't look nearly as good.

I pick black, not only to be more racially sensitive but also because the white site hurts my eyes. A lot.

As far as I'm concerned there is really only a black version of Giant Bomb.

I'm glad they finally pushed white out for those who wanted it, but I still prefer black.
