Can you check if a PSN DLC code is valid without redeeming it?

I bought a used copy of Heavy Rain Special Edition from Blockbusters, finished it and now want to sell it on ebay. Does anyone know, can I input the DLC code, see if it is still valid and then cancel before it's redeemed? I don't want to try if it screws it up. Thank.s
