So i just finished Killzone 2, and wow what a game, but killing off Radac IMO was a HUGE mistake. It made me think of when i finished Mass Effect and killing Saren.Why would you kill off great characters? Have you felt the same towards heroes or villains who were, in your mind, prematurely eliminated from a series?

I never felt like Saren needed to stay alive. He justified his purpose in the fiction and provided a boss. I never felt like he was much of a good character but I understand what you mean. I was annoyed with the way that killed Soap in the new MW3 because it was dumb.
I was pissed off when they killed Garza from Killzone 2. He was a pretty cool ass character, and they kill him off in the most retarded way possible. But then I look at Killzone 3 and realize that he was better off dead.

For me, it was in the first Mass Effect when you make "the choice". Especially since I felt my decision didn't make a huge difference in ME2.
