a simple question what should i preorder black ops or MOH?
cod:black ops or MOH?
both stink and are a tired arcade shooter genre, not to mention their multiplayer is a load of disgusting horse cum
CoD gets it for having the better single player
Edit: for the people saying i should play both games before judging.. really? i have to play the new CoD first? did we have to have played MW2 or W@W before they came out to know exactly what they will be like? no.
Next time i see someone diss Guitar Hero, i'll make sure to tell them to tryz outz the gamez beforez callingz it another sequel milking the series
Black Ops, the beta of Medal of Honor sucked, they'll probably fix all the issues that I had, but it didn't fell right. Black Ops looks really good actually, not the biggest fan of Treyarch's Call of Duty games, but from what they've said, the game should more or less, fix all the problems MW2 had.
Neither. Both look good, but I need a break from the CoD style gameplay and leveling system.
But if I was going to buy one, it would be Black Ops.

You have played both?
No?
Silly teenager.
I have to go with Black Ops, I have faith in Treyarch since I liked World at War a lot and the chopper gameplay footage they've shown from E3 2010 was quite impressive. Black Ops looks way superior than the travesty that was Modern Warfare 2. The new Medal of Honor looks like a Modern Warfare 2 clone, which is not a good thing.
. I'd like to try both out eventually though. "but i hardly have time to play my xbox so i want to try the better game

silly .. person.

I am picking up black ops because I'm a CoD fan. The multiplayer is strong and that's really what I'm into the genre for.
i'm tired of modern shooters but id go with MOH, the campaign is being done separately and looks pretty fun, with a multiplayer from dice although both will prob be the same
cod, the multiplayer will be similar to moh so thats fine for you, but the campaign looks like a rehash of modern warfare 2, so MOH is my choice
COD. It has better controls and co-op with zombies. MOH is a lazy COD 4 clone.
Also, Black Ops' campaign sounds interesting.
I'm resisting to say neither.
But I'd go with MoH maybe it will have a decent spawn system and a respectable community (doubtful).
best thing to do is get none of them. Get Halo: reach and i promise you will be entertained way past both of the games releases. But if you must get either or get MOH only because it looks like Battle Field which was fun for a whole like 3 weeks. COD is downhill since MW2 dont even pay attention to them. Shit just get Fallout: new vegas
Don't preorder either.
Wait until like, a day after they come out and stuff.
Then snap them up.
Not worth the preorders.
I'm getting Halo: Reach over both of them, but if I have to pick, I'd go with black ops. The MOH beta was really bad, the gameplay is too similar to Battlefield's, without the emphasis on playing as a team (which is what sets Battlefield apart from Call of Duty.)
Honestly, CoD. I'm not some super duper try hard and love CoD, but it's the fps I'm used to. I don't play many either. Plus, I have nothing but awesome times getting in with a group of friends and sometimes family playing a whole night of it.
If Black Ops fixes a lot of the issues that are in MW2 multiplayer, it could be really, really good. Also I agreed with what someone said on a podcast where people should get kill streak rewards on objectives as well. Which obviously spread out the way people play and you won't run into games where people are playing it like team death match.
I think Black Ops has a lot of potential. Here's to hoping it takes advantage and learns of what MW2 did wrong as a whole.
im tired of cod. after playing waw, 4, and mw2..... i know what black ops is going to be... MoH beta was fantastic and thats what i'll be getting this fall...
We haven't seen anything of the singleplayer for MoH, so who knows. For the multiplayer, get CoD:BO. I have played the beta and understand why Jeff is saying this game feels like a sham. I'd rather play either Modern Warfare 2 or Bad Company 2. Not the middleground.
The MoH beta is absolutely shocking. I know it's just a beta but come on, we can all more or less see what that mp is gonna end up being like, and I don't like it. We don't really need to have seen much or played much of these games to know what they're going to be like, it's sad but true. I liked WaW and will probably be getting Black Ops despite my rapidly declining interest in CoD, OP don't waste your time with MoH, if you have to buy one of them I would go with Black Ops, Treyarch are working with a great engine, they know how to make good mp maps (mostly), and if you have any interest in CoD gameplay whatsoever, then it is the obvious choice.
