With my right hand currently incapacitated I need some games to play while recovering. Preferably games that are better while high on a variety of painkillers.
Crushed my hand. Are there one handed friendly games?
Yes.
A) Anything you can play solely with a mouse. Get used to using one with your left hand!
B) Game Boy/Game Boy Advance emulator. I once managed to play Metroid Fusion with one hand on a keyboard, though I don't remember precisely how and I didn't beat it that way.
C) Turn based games especially.
D)

Audiosurf
If I weren't at work I'd link you to Stroker, but unfortunately I'm not going to risk that for a bad joke. You'll just have to place one here yourself.
I would also recommend Pokemon.
Also you could find a good chess website or something of that nature.
Tower defense games where you don't need to place items.
Fire Emblem.
Also a bunch of the GBA Pokemon games had the option to turn on L = A, so you only needed to use the left side of the GBA and nothing else.
Though you'd mostly use the non gaming hand to give the game a huge, fat middle finger anytime the neighbouring Lords get all uppity.
Grim Fandango that shit.
Oh and excuse my morbid curiosity but how did you crush it? (if you don't mind me asking)
This is surprisingly not the first time a thread like this has been made. At least this one isn't depressing.
The Internet, I guess? That's like a game. Plenty of mobile games can be played mono-a-mano, too.
visual novels? and you can speak japanese so you probably have a better selection than the rest of us
Getting those installed usually takes two hands, in my experience.
Turn based strategy, maybe an older RPG. Basically, anything that you can take your sweet time doing. Also, you can get really good at strategy games while on drugs, and then you'll be a master when you're actually coherent. That's how it works, right?

Unless you fucked up and made a mistake.
That sucks, man. FTL: Faster Than Light seems like a game that you could play in your condition.
Grim Fandango that shit.

I was running for the bus and the driver didn't see me so the door shut on my hand.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys.
@video_game_king: Thats why you use a GBA SP so your thumb can easily reach across the system.
House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return is great and only needs on wiimote. Also Wii Sports and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and pretty much any Wii on-rails shooter.
Crap, I forgot about Super Hexagon. On a PC, with the arrow keys. I guess you could also use a tablet and two fingers. Or one finger and one fist, or whatever your other hand is like right now. And then add drugs.
The Suikoden series has the usual face button controls but L1, L2 and Select also work at Confirm, Cancel and Menu, so you play it with just your left hand.
I recommend FTL personally.
Also, I am just tripping balls or are the forums not updating the "last post" time on threads properly? Says 2 hours ago on almost every thread for me.
@qwerty1038: I hope his hand is better by now! Its been seven years!
Into the Breach is free on epic. Simple yet complicated. Timetravel. All fits with a painkiller high. And medical bills.
Edit. I'm sorry. A link so you don't have to type: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/into-the-breach
Edit x2. I see my empathy was exploited. I will remember this.
