Dan and Drew - new game series from start to finish (like MGS)
Elite: DANgerous. Or any other flight game, really. After so much MGScanlon, I'd say it's Drew's turn to introduce Dan to something.

I like that idea. Let's put New Dan to the test and have him try out a franchise he hasn't played before. Since Dan has a weird thing about what are JRPGs and anime, I would nominate something along those lines.
But at the same time...
I wish Drew could do content with anyone else. Demo Derby, Metal Gear Scanlon, Film and 40s. It's getting to be a bit much.
I kind of agree. I'm not fatigued by Drew and Dan as a duo or anything, but it's not like they always have to do something together. Dan or Drew could easily team up on a feature with Brad, Jeff, or Jason for whatever the next big thing is.
Only if people shut up and let Dan/Drew guide one another more. People's anger over Dan (or Jason) telling Drew about stuff almost single-handedly ruined MGS5.
I know Dan has a fondness for the Zelda series, and iirc Drew has at some point said he hasn't played much (if any?) of those games.
Or as Metempsychosis pointed out, you could get Drew to teach Dan a little something about flight simulators and TrackIR.
Personally I don't think there needs to be another full playthrough series anytime soon. MGS was a very special case.
It would be interesting to see Drew take Dan through a series but:
A) Besides Halo and Toejam and Earl Drew doesn't seem to have a deep love for a series besides sims which I'm not interested in.
B) Dan probably won't be as immediately cooperative in taking directions as Drew is
C) Drew won't be as enthusiastic as Dan is
@madman356647: Yes, very much so. But then Dan is encouraging it with all the talk of Danjo KaDrewie.
@madman356647: In the way that they'll probably lose interest to do something like this again due to badgering from the community? You're most likely correct.
I'd prefer if full playthroughs are rare things, personally.
Drew should try to coach Dan through one of his weirdly complex flight simulators. Maybe not for a whole series of games, but at lease one or two.
No. Continue w/ the Demo Derby's, maybe get Brad/Jeff or GB East to do another start-to-finish series. MG Scanlon was great but change would be even better.
#PushHitDan:BradMoney
@l33t_haxor: (and others) That would be fun too for an episode or two.
@madman356647: Yes, very much so. But then Dan is encouraging it with all the talk of Danjo KaDrewie.
Was there some announcement about that at PAX or did I somehow completely dream that up?
@bbalpert: No announcement that I know of, during their panel Dan mentioned it and Drew very quickly shook the camera as to say no(which doesn't necessarily mean no) so that's probably what you're thinking of.
Personally I'd like to see their roles flipped, but you need a game that Dan has not only not played but would also get some enjoyment out of. It's easy to forget because Drew got frustrated often but Drew seemed to enjoy the story telling of the MGS series, and I'm not convinced Dan would get any enjoyment out of trying to learn a flight sim...though I'd like to see that for a few episodes it doesn't need to be a long series, something like when Dan was giving WoW a shot.
As far as completing full series I think that they shouldn't try and force it and just wait and let it happen organically.I'd rather they used the time that would have went into MGS to do more Demo Derby's and Game Tapes both features that I would love to see more often.
I hope they come back with something but not so soon. As much as I love their dynamic, I think the Dan/Drew duo needs to have a break for a bit so we can enjoy it later. Right now I would prefer if we could get more episodes of Demo Derby and Game Tapes more often.

I've been trying to push this idea for a long time, I think it would be really funny to have their roles switched like that at least for an UPF, where the other guys can make comments and joke about it.
If they do another one, I'd like to see Dan playing a Drew game while Drew watches. Otherwise I'd prefer Dan an Brad doing Hitman games. Dan has a surprising genius for how to play those.
I remember hanging around with Drew and Vinny at the Pre-Pax Prime event as they were pondering what other series they could do. They were looking for something with the similar amount of craziness to its story as Metal Gear. I didn't really have a good answer at the time but I think potentially Ace Attorney might actually be good, but makes more sense for the East office.
@meissnerd: THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!
FINAL SCANTASY!
In my view, Dan, Drew, Vinny (and maybe Austin) are the biggest draws to GB. I would love to see Vinny / Jeff do Persona 5. Maybe mix it up a notch and have Vinny / Dan do something. They are the biggest personalities on the site. My humble opinion. I only started this poll because I'm rewatching all the MGS content. I do feel the big successes are when they do a series, like castlevania (GBE) or MGS (GB). Or Dark souls, but they've done so much of that its probably a bad example. And DOTA / Destiny can do one. IMHO.
Dang, lots of mehs there huh? MGSV didn't exactly go down easy with the community lol.
Personally I'd rather watch Drew get back into flight games and bring someone along for the ride. HitDan is not a bad idea if they play Blood Money. Having Brad back for anything would be cool too, feels like he's a non-entity these days (sorry Brad, much love).
edit: Final Scantasy is such a good name. But man that feels like a slog on fire just thinking about it. Plus, we already have one amazing FF feature :D
ResiDAN DREWvil - Not sure how familiar either of these boys are with the Resident Evil series. Would love to see them go through the main series. Original PSX Resident Evil (Director's Cut) through Resident Evil 6. No RE-Make. No Revelations. Original consoles only (1-3: PSX versions, RE4 GameCube, RE5 & 6 360 or PS3)
Final Scantasy? Maybe but it'd be a draaaaaag with some of those earlier games. Have you played FF1 recently? Woof...
Dan and Drew should play the Atelier series. I have no idea what they would name it though and, in all honesty, it would probably not go too great.
I would really dig a Drew/Jeff series of some kind and if Dan/Brad could do a Hitman: Blood Money playthrough that would be awesome.
No. Continue w/ the Demo Derby's, maybe get Brad/Jeff or GB East to do another start-to-finish series. MG Scanlon was great but change would be even better.
this and this is coming from the guy who wants them to play mgr but i give up on that after what was said it the end of mgs5.
yeah keep in mind, I want to see Drew play Final Fantasy. I don't think Dan would be a great partner in that ("is this anime? what's that guy wearing? is THAT anime?" etc.)
And Brad would just dunk on anything that isn't FF4 or 6
C-can they ship Austin over?
You accidentally stumbled on a great idea: have Drew play Final Fantasy X while Jeff makes observations. That game needs an enema.
Nah.
I'd rather have Drew and Danny play a full career mode in one of the F1 games. Their full race of Germany last year was fantastic.
Oh, and more Brad and Dan Hitman videos. Give the people what they want (if it's not too much of a time sink).
@madman356647: Yes, very much so. But then Dan is encouraging it with all the talk of Danjo KaDrewie.
I feel like I need to stamp my foot down and just say the obvious: the idea of Dan and Drew playing Banjo-Kazooie sounds like a bad idea even for as much as it's just a dumb joke that Dan likes to bring up every now and again. I like those games a hell of a lot, but I'm not convinced they make for good viewing material. For that matter, I think the same about most of the Final Fantasy games.
To answer the actual subject though, I think Deus Ex could have potential (DeDrews Ex?) though that first game is occasionally rough and frustrating in a way that only a PC game from the year 2000 can be rough and frustrating. I'm also not convinced that we need another Dan/Drew video feature quite yet, given the way people burnt out on MGS V.
This is maybe only tangentially related, but what about a Ranking of Fighters spinoff: Fight School, where fightmaster Jason and assistant fightmaster Jeff try to teach Drew and/or other staff members how to play a new fighting game each week.
@vinny, @austin_walker, and @alex play through the entirety of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. Let's do this.
@yummylee: Yeah, that's a pretty good Endurance Run idea, because A) it's perhaps the most David Cage of all David Cage games, so it has constant fodder for ridicule, and B) it is mercifully short because they went way over budget on the early parts of the game and at a certain point in the game it's just like "FUCKIN' WRAP IT UP, BOYS."
@vinny, @austin_walker, and @alex play through the entirety of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. Let's do this.
I strongly support this idea! First, it was the only David Cage game I truly enjoyed (and I believe some parts of it were neat for it's time). Second, I remember Alex commented on twitter that he liked the game, despite all of the bullshit for it's second half, so I think he could be the one playing it while Vinny and Austin comment on it. And third, I think that game has GBEast vibes written all over it.
Also, as @bisonhero said, the game is really short, specially once you get to the parts where the budget was clearly running out, so I think they could finish it with just two or three Friday streams.
