danny o dwyer - Rotating Chair (West Coast Edition)

3 weeks of Danny on the bombcast! Is he the new rotating chair for the west coast crew, cause I'm all for it :)

He has less smart fridge knowledge than the East coast rotating chair, but I’ll allow it.

He doesn’t even sit on a chair!

I didn't see an official announcement for it, but people are sending in emails addressed to Danny, so it's probably the case. In any event, I love his stuff and he's been awesome on the Bombcast like always!

As an Irish man, his choice of King crisps over Tayto was pretty crushing. A betrayal.

As far as plug and play options go for the Bombcast, Danny O’Dwyer is a fantastic fit. If I’m not mistaken, Jeff said that Giant Bomb came pretty close to hiring Danny in the past. If Danny does become the West Coast equivalent of Jeff Bakalar, I think many of us would be pretty excited about it.

I imagine that while probably busy still, he can now more easily spare time for doing a podcast, since he can't exactly travel around the world to interview people...and while that's kind of a bummer on it's own, I do greatly appreciate frequent Danny appearances on the Bombcast!

Didn’t he do the same with kinda fun games for awhile?

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't see him being available for "permanent rotating chair" status once he's able to travel again, but it's fun while it lasts.
