A little while ago on the beastcast they were talking about how Dan was going to eat a hat.

Did he ever eat a hat? Was said hat eating filmed?

Can I watch Dan eat a hat?

If I'm not mistaken, Brad still needs to eat a hat as well.

Maybe Taco Bell will make him a nacho hat in his wedding.

Not sure why Dan is so obsessed with people thinking he's a "man of his word". What's wrong with admitting to being a liar and a coward? I've had plenty of friends over the years that are liars and cowards and they seem fine outside of the lies and cowardice. Of course I'm not because I'm a man of my word but that's not the point.

It's not gonna be a real hat, it'll be some kind of cop out shit food hat. After the absurd reaction they had to mold on food the idea that Dan would eat a real hat is crazy. It would have to be a straw hat at minimum but Dan thinking everything is going to kill him if he eats it means that won't happen. All talk no walk in the hat eating department.

This reminds me of the time Smashmouth ate the eggs, except Dan didn't.

It's kind of lame to make a bet like that and then try to find lame ways around doing it. Eating a Taco Bell food hat isn't any kind of embarrassment or punishment. If Taco Bell had "Food Hat-ita" on the menu, Dan would order one four times a week. It's a lame ass cop out. Either go all the way and eat a real hat or don't make stupid bets like that in the first place.

But it's like telling a duck not to be a duck.

At least Brad didn't try to stipulate after the fact that the hat had to be designed to be edible, or even actual food, and then act like that was a totally normal assumption in a hat-eating-bet. Thus missing the entire point of hat-eating being an unpleasant experience.

(I mean, he didn't, did he? I don't even remember Brad saying he'd eat a hat, let alone what either thing was about).

Edit: Never mind, after reviewing the tape, everything I said above was wrong. I give Brad credit for at least trying to flat-out deny his hat bet, rather than trying to weasel out of it while still claiming that he was trying to honorably fulfill it, the way Dan is.

If he ever does I will eat my hat.
