Disappointed that there is no scavenger hunt component to the Steam Summer Sale this year?

Normally I would've liked the scavenger hunt for achievements, but this summer I have a job where I'm working 7 days a week and don't have a lot of free time, so I'm actually kind of glad there isn't a scavenger hunt.

But how do you guys feel?

Games I want being cheaper is enough for me.

I like the new format, the scavenger hunts were just ways to get people to buy specific sale items, most of which I had no interest in. The whole present trading thing got pretty crazy too so I'm happy the toned it down this time. I'd much rather have way more deals with community input than prizes for specific games.

I'm going to get like the 2 games I've been waiting for and then there will be nothing to do.

And hopefully I Ea puts Battlefield 3 somewhere super cheap.

I'm not convinced there won't be a scavenger hunt type event. The post in the Summer Camp group mentions having some "fun activities scheduled" and mentions earningbadges, so the event might start up a few days into the sale.

Not really, but I did really enjoy the journal entries and the art that accompanied them from last year's summer camp.
