Yes. I need something to play 56%
No. Good games will come. I just want it Day 1. 44%

I realized that I don't really care about the launch games all that much. Sure some of the games look interesting but I'm not buying the system for any one game.

C: No, because buying consoles at launch is a sucker's game.

I feel like buying a console at launch is more for the "allure" of having something new, if that makes sense.

In all seriousness though, I feel like as long as there is at least a game or two that you can play for a significant chunk of time then it can be worth it. I feel like I'll probably end up waiting until the Spring to pick up a PS4, but I could also see myself caving around the holidays.

Honestly this is the first console launch that I'm excited for because the games that are coming out actually interest me.

Yes, which is why I've never bought a console at launch. There are other reasons not to buy at a launch, but that's the major one. Why would I want to spend full price on a console that doesn't even gain me access to any (or enough) worthwhile games to play? There are plenty of other things I can spend that money on.

I would never buy a console at launch so the launch lineup really doesn't matter, what matters is what games come out after the first year, once I start considering actually upgrading.
