Do you ever not want to play games?

It's weird, lately, I've wanted to play games, but just haven't :\, probably because I just beat GoW:CoO on my second playthrough with my new unlocked outfit (I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS AT ALL). 
 
Do you ever just feel like not playing games for a while?

I'm not playing one right now, nor do I want to.

I've actually felt the opposite.  There was a period where I really wanted to dive back into games but I couldn't.  Now I'm easing back in to my regular gaming schedule.  Games are huge to me and I don't see myself really making an exception to it for a long period of time.

Sometimes I'll turn on my Xbox, look at my games, and say "Wait, why am I doing this?"

Absolutely. When you do something an awful lot, you're bound to get tired of it on occasions. It's only natural.

I just beat Infamous finally, and it was awesome.  Other than that I don't really have anything new to play so that's why I'm here, bored.

Eh, sometimes. But I usually suck it up or find another way to cure the boredom.

I haven't played video games for about a month, i was supposed to pick up ODST this weekend but i didn't feel like it. I still love video games though i just don't want to play them.

All the time. Sometimes i'd prefer to sit and stare at nothing than play a game. It's weird. 

Sort of. Mainly because I've gotten bored with the games I have. Sometimes I want to finish a game (as in get the all the achievements and trophies) but then it feels a bit more like work than play.

All the time, pretty much every day for most of the day I'm like -- I DON'T WANT TO PLAY A GAME RIGHT NOW. That's when you go out and do something else. It's pretty amazing.

I do it a lot with my Xbox. I sit down, turn it on look at my friends list, then turn it off.

Yeah, but then I go on Giant Bomb to talk about games or just be entertained in the forums.

Of course, sometimes you just don't feel like it :).

 I feel like I want to make a game, more than I want to play a game.

Yeah.  It's part of being a gamer.  Everyone needs a break at some point.

Yeah sometimes I'll think about playing a game... then I'll realize that I'm actually pretty sick of the game and only wanna play it for the trophies/achievements. Then I'll go watch TV or read or something.

Yeah, I usually take a one month break from games when I'm bored with them, and this happens like two or three times a year.

Sometimes if I'm being lazy and don't want to get up and change the game or get the controller.

It's not so much that I don't want to play games as I want to do other things more.  I never thought I'd want to read a good book than play a game, but I do it all the time these days...

Yeah, happens when I play too much ad nauseam.

Sometimes I go through a spell where I dont want to play anything. Its been a while though.

When ever it comes to music I just got some more albums and listening hard out!!!

Of course, sometimes I don't wanna game, and then I don't game. There's alot of things to do besides gaming =P

Absofrutely. Altough sometimes i want to play games that i don't own.

I havent played anything since Tetris for 2 weeks now.

I don't "play" games...I live them!  That's right, I am that hardcore.  Now I am off to sign up for the Hello Kitty beta, fingers crossed. 
 
Seriously, when I finish a really good game and I have that nice feeling inside, typically I don't feel like gaming for a few days after that.  And, as everyone else above pointed out, I have other interests beside gaming.  Sometimes, a lot of times in fact, I'd rather do some of that.   

Yeah, sometimes I really don't feel like playing something. But it usually comes back after doing some other stuff.

Happens all the time. Ill think that I want to play so I hop on my bed ready to play only to go "I dont wanna..."

Sure - sometimes you just wanna relax and do other things for once. Its just like anything in the world - every now and again you get a little sick of it and wanna do something new or different. There's no shame in that.
