Gametraders is also doing one, or are participating in the same one. I don't know. But I have expressed my opinion to my local Federal member last election time so I guess signing a petition wouldn't hurt as well so count me in. Also if your really interested next Federal election the Australian Sex Party is running with an R rating for video games as a part of their campaign. With the power of those guys behind our back we can't fail lol.

Well, it seems EB games of Australia are trying to get the R18 thing in too. They're not totally evil or useless after all.
They've got a petition going in stores, or online     http://www.growupaustralia.com/show-your-support/r18-games-submission/     Sign up i guess? "
They are evil and useless, but this is a huge thing. Retailer support for this fight is exactly what we need.

I have many bad things to say about EB, but it this context I will say one of the big positives of EB.
Before I started using steam as often as possible ot buy, I would use the EB at Penrith Plaza, which has a JB Hifi next to it (great for price matching).
Anyway, i've seen the dudes at EB many times refuse MA 15+ games to kids without parents. Well not many, but 3 different occasions.
Still this was enough to convince me those guys are responsible and tight with that shit.

Anyway

RETAILER SUPPORT FELLOW AUSTRALIANS. GET YOUR ARSE ON THERE AND SIGN UP!!!!!

Just filled out a form. I'm skeptical as to whether my input here will change much but may as well try.

Yeah, JB seems to always be cheaper than EB. I'm actually not sure how often the whole issue of kids buying M15+ games thing comes up. Most kids can't afford games anyway. By the time they can they'll be old enough to buy them, so it probably doesn't happen often. And i'm assuming that everytime somebody who looks really young tries to buy an M15+ game from a gamestore, they'll get refused.

Anyway, the petition isn't just for Australians apparantly, since it gives a country box to fill out. So everyone here should sign it, regardless of where you live.
