Is this a good deal?
Exchanging GTA IV for COD World at War
nooo, don't give up GTA. Lost and Damned is great, and another expansion is coming. you'll probably end up just buying it again, so don't give it up.
Essentially, you are trading in a great game for a piece of shit. That doesn't sound like a very good deal to me.

I would say that it isn't a good deal. I've played and completed both, the single player on GTA is great and you know you can go back to it and just mess around. Once you complete COD, there's not that much you can do. Well apart from the Zombie mode but that gets a bit boring after the novelty has worn off. Multiplayer wise, COD is more fun than GTA and alot more people play it but essentially what you are getting is an updated version of COD4 with better maps but worse weapons.

"Captain_Fookup said:Have you seen Graphics comparisons? The first level on Call of Duty 4 (Boat level) blows anything in that poor excuse of a game away. Treyarch's palette for that game consisted of brown and baby poo green."Tom_H said:Haha, has better graphics so it's an update to me =P""I would say that it isn't a good deal. Hmm, I don't remember the boat level blowing me away. I always remember though liking the US missions in the desert place. While COD:WaW may be a bit blander in terms of landscape and colour, I think it looks better for what Treyarch have done than what Infinity Ward did with COD:4. That being said though, COD 4 is a year older so graphics are expected to be better for WaW.
i wouldnt do that.
GTA IV is a classic imo. one of my favorite games of all time
WaW is just ok. Modern Warfare is better
If you only intend to play the single-player.. hell no. Playing GTA through again would be better than playing world at war once. I didn't find it good. As for multiplayer... yeah its pretty good. And obviously its really similar to COD4 but the more you play W@W multiplayer, the more the little mistakes they made become apparent.
I would probably jump in here and say as a PS3 owner, you're not going to get anything more out of GTA4 and as such dude, totally trade it if you're done with it.
Although I would advise you trade it against a title more worth your while and just wait til this year's holiday season for MW2 -- COD:WAW wasn't great.
