I'm pretty sure Bioshocks name was reffering to the Bioligical engineering and splicing and such that they were doing down there and not reffering to the fact that it was underwater, if that was the case it would have been called Aquashock.

A lot of people were making that Skyoshock joke on the day it was revealed. I know Jeff Cannata was one such person. He actually coined that term before the game was even shown and before he knew about it. He was just guessing possible directions the franchise could move in.

Oh no we had a full on debate about it on another forum a few hours ago, a couple members felt that the name should be changed to 'Aeroshock' because its not underwater anymore and they weren't joking they were serious, and then some other bastards (myself included) came along and told them Bio was never reffering to the water in the first place.

Do you listen to the bombcast at all? Plus I took Latin and Greek at school. But it does look epic nonetheless.
