Favorite Giantbomb E3 moments

It's about that time for what would have been E3. In lieu of any official E3 commentary this year, I wondered about what everyone's favorite Giantbomb E3 videos, podcasts, commentary, and general content was? Are there any specific moments from the past that stick out in your mind?

For me, it will always be the WEED3 incident. A close second would be the Johnny V, Boyes, and Lang insanity. While I'm at it, a third was a pre-Giantbomb Dan explaining his elaborate OkCupid prank.

For me it was a few years ago. The GB crew was watching the UbiSoft conference for Skull and Bones and Dan admitted he did not know that pirates stole things. The look on Jeff’s face was priceless.

I don't know if it's my favourite, but the multi-year saga of Justin McElroy and Sherlock Holmes will never not make me laugh.

Dan's OKCupid story is easily top 5.

there are so many good ones- weed3, kessler/lang showdown, keanu, @bladeofcreation mentioned the 'guys on a bridge with blue shirts' story, austin and ryckert's twinkie/food gag...

i think the one i'm going to pick for now was brought to mind by @imhungry- the whole segment is worth watching because honestly the couch lineup is solid gold...

...but this particular exchange between eric pope and justin mcelroy regarding belts and time travel...it's just the best.

Justin McElroy regailing us with tales from the Sherlock Holmes 6 booth. And Bethesda lady's audible gasp.

I mean, my go to memories are Ryan snapping “No, YOU be soft!” and Jeff’s immortal response.

Oh, and the night that <> was born. Just, that whole night, abrasive drunk guests and all.

Patrick: 'I can't wait to ask a bunch of questions at my Zelda Appointment.'

A few minutes after the conference ends

Patrick: 'Oh, my Zelda appointment is actually for Hyrule Warriors.'

• Ed Boon keeping perfect composure on the couch with his old "pals" from Midway
• Dave Lang almost going speechless after he realized what was in that "famous" tweet
• Cliffy B. talking pretty casually in studio previously used for adult entertainment (based on chat heresay ofc)
• Random people cheering for the L.A. Kings as they walk by on the night they won the Stanley Cup
• Definitely the time belt story as mentioned above
• Probably a few others e.g. the fridge cam

Pretty much everything that took place when they filmed their E3 2012 video bumper.

If I had to pick a moment from that video, it'd be Alex's insane performance.

Dave Lang, Adam Boyes, and Johnny V with Jeff In 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 at E3. These are iconic segments.

There is only one moment that stands out to me and its this. It was so well done and executed to perfection.

Dan's Skull and Bones "Pirates just stole shit?" is up there. I've also been around long enough to remember when Lockdown was put on loop for 45 minutes and became an Giant Bomb meme. I wanna say that was E3 2014 before Ubisoft?

Probably not in the same caliber sadly.
