Favorite move/ability of the year

Everyone talks about a specific game about how shit/awesome it is, whether they got chewing gum ads and whatnot but even if the game's crap, what would you say is your favorite ability in a 2010 game?
 
My nominees:
the vanguard's charge ability from Mass Effect 2
the rocket slide from Vanquish
the cinematic kills from Fable 3 (meh game but come on, those unique slow motion kills kicked ass)

If Fable gets the cinematic kills, can Bayonetta qualify for the attacks she uses to finish off bosses?

That's like the best ability in any game ever.

Good concept.  I like your nominees, other than I haven't played Fable III so I can't speak to that.
 
I would also add the ice skates in Bayonetta.  They're pretty fun.
 
My vote for best ability is charge ability for the vanguard in ME2.  That ability single-handily made the game for me and allows for some seriously crazy fun. It made insane mode a pleasure to play.  Well, it and area Reave.

I liked the part where all those ghosts where on my tail and then I turned around and ate them all AAAARGHHFFBLGRGH!!!

Slam in ME2. It's basically how I killed every single enemy.

Immediately when i saw the topic i thought of Sam Gideon kicking A.I. ass in his uber-cool suit. Boosting in Vanquish was so fucking satisfying. Really a breath of fresh air for the TPS genre.

grapple hook in Just Cause 2

" In Lair of the Shadow Broker, the assassin you fight is a Vanguard who actually uses Charge. This gave me the chance to grin (as I was a Vanguard as well) and literally say out loud "Anything you can do, I CAN DO BETTER!" and charge her before lighting her up with my shotgun. 
 

Oh wait no, it's that crazy ass attack at the end of a Long Sword Spirit Combo in Monster Hunter Tri.  They took the most sneered at weapon for it's OP/Newb-Friendly-ness and made it even more OP/Newb-Friendly.  I mean, like, seriously!?
