Favourite DLC of all time?
Now DLC is a fairly new think in the video game industry but so far there has been some great examples of how DLC can increase games shelf life and offer more hours of that $60 game you love so much. My favourite DLC is simply the "Lost And Dammed" addon for GTA IV, which I think will quite a populor awnser. I enjoy the Fallout dlc but the "Lost and Dammed" is the only bit of DLC ive played where your in somebody elses shoes often watching the events of the main character from another point of view, a methord so effective games such as Red Faction are releasing DLC with the same ideas. So what is you guys favourite DLC?
Nothings better than finding out your favorite songs has been released as DLC in Rock Band. It's like Christmas every Friday.
I liked the Fallout 3 DLC because it was very robust. When developers were first figuring out this whole DLC thing, they seemed to want to use it just to make a quick buck on useless aesthetic crap like Bethesda's horse armor for Oblivion. I think people are starting to realize that meaty content will sell better than junk. I'm really excited about Heavy Rain. The developers have said they may use DLC to continue (or prequel) the stories of individual characters.
Poison by alice cooper! .... Rockband...singstar... either
and as much as I don't care for the game the MGS little big planet pack was pretty good
Big DLC - GTA IV: The Lost and Damned
'Mini' DLC - Any of the Halo 3 map packs
"@Jimbo_N said:Was See the Future good? It looked a little underwhelming in the Quick Look. "" As said earlier its probably finding a favorite song on Rock Band / Guitar Hero. The Fable 2 DLC (both packs) also comes to mind. "
Yea the quick look didnt do it justice at all.
" Nothings better than finding out your favorite songs has been released as DLC in Rock Band. It's like Christmas every Friday. "Exactly. I love that!! I have too many Rock Band DLC's that were such fun: "Losing My Religion", Ten, Moving Pictures, Boston Pack, "White Rabbit", The Who Pack, "Don't Stop Believin'", etc, etc. I am excited to find out the new songs each week.
If we are talking about "big" DLC though, either The Lost and Damned or all of Fallout 3's stuff together.

" @manurok1 said:I agree "" Definatly The Lost and Damned. I enjoyed it just as much as GTA 4 and I hope the Balled of Gay Tony is just as good if not better. "
Second that. I just wish the screenshots did a better job of showing people and characters and not just explosions. I'm sure the story will be great but I like to getting early shots of the ppl I will interact with.
