Jade from Beyond Good & Evil.  She's one of the first female game protagonists that I didn't find at all embarrassing.

Even though they were all kind of sub-par, it would have to be Motoko Kusanagi from the Ghost In The Shell games on Sony's machines.

As far as gaming female, my favorite is Tifa Lockhart.

My favorite reality chic is Alicia Keys, Christina Milian, Ashanti and Megan Good (and many others).

Alyx Vance from the Half Life 2 series gets my vote, she's one of the few NPC sidekicks to get a decent personality and some screen time. After that is probably April Ryan from the Longest Journey series, she's just awesome.

Also less of the nudity, or this place will just end up with more banned users in its first week than Gamespot in its entire history.
