Female Character of the Generation: Round 2, Group 2
Mass Effect 2's gonna win this, isn't it?

Considering Ellie is crushing it, I have no clue what you two are talking about.
Look, if you don't vote for Bayonetta, you're lame.
Be rad, vote Bayo. ;)
Edit: You know, Labrys also falls into the "Rad" category, so you could vote for her too, if you want.

Ellie is crushing it...with twenty-six votes so far and recency bias to back her up. Let's see how things play out, shall we?

Sadly.
Deciding between Elena and Bayonetta took longer than I expected... I went with Elena in the end for how much a fan I am of Emily Rose.
I wasn't that big a fan of Bayonetta as a character and her looks weren't my style really. However, if we were talking short bayonetta from the upcoming wiiu game, things may've been different.
She's obviously not going to win, but it's crazy that Faridah Malik got to the 2nd round at all. I think her Round 1 group must've been the weaker of the two, and a bunch of people must've used one of their "lowest" 15 votes on her. I imagine if we only got 10 votes or something she certainly would not have advanced. Or just a lot of people played Deus Ex: HR and didn't play many other games or something.
I really, really like Deus Ex: HR, but Faridah is a pretty stock pilot character, and she gets like a single side quest that kinda fleshes her out a bit (she doesn't like her best friend's horribly abusive boyfriend, not exactly a very unique character trait). Cool of them to include an Arabic character who is just a regular person and whatever, but she's nowhere near as interesting and fleshed out as anybody else in this poll.
@bisonhero: I'll admit that I totally forgot who Faridah even was until I started playing the Human Revolution Director's Cut a couple of days ago. It is odd that she made it this far, but then again, Keith David from Saints Row IV managed to survive to the second round in the men's bracket.
Seriously you guys, Clementine is not that good of a character. You just like The Walking Dead (I do too!)

I don't think she's amazing or anything, but I can't think of any (definitely not ten) more believable children or shy video game characters from the same generation.
My vote goes to Bayonetta, because she's super bad-ass.
Too many awesome characters.
Faridah was one of my votes last round, I remembered who she was, I totally think she's one of this gen's best female characters. I guess she didn't have enough amusing one liners?
Faridah was an awesome character, although given she was more of a main
side
character; if that makes any sense, I wouldn't see her winning, but in my mind she was one of the most well written female characters of any generation/media source.
That being said though this poll is really hard, I want to vote for at least half the characters.
As much as I'm surprised that Faridah made it this far, I'm also pretty impressed. She's far from the most important character in Human Revolution, but the fact that she made as much of an impression as she did to not only be nominated but make it into the second round is not too shabby.
You made me think Elena made it this far. DAMN YOU FOR GETTING MY HOPES UP.
@video_game_king: Get your false Elena out of here!!
