I sat on the couch playing Oxenfree and watching Top 8s all day yesterday. Even though Street Fighter is my favorite game, and Sako my favorite player, I went to bed right before he fought Phenom since it was already like 12am CST. And this freakin tournament was on the east coast!

CEO was awesome, but they really need to work on their scheduling so that the top billed sets aren't happening on a Monday morning.

@oodli: As much as I'd rather Kiryu, I will say TWD is much more popular than Yakuza without any evidence to back up my statement.

@ivdamke: I know that TWD is way more recognizable than Yakuza, it's just that I haven't heard anything about the show for over a year. Kiryu just seems like he's made for a fighting game.

You know what, whatever. As long as he plays well and looks cool it doesn't matter.

Just finished catching up on DBFZ and SFV, FighterZ was amazing and we've got a UK Evo SF champion! I can't believe it.

I very much enjoyed hanging out in the chat for all the other finals, thanks to everyone who stopped by this weekend.

So how bad is Bipson gonna get nerfed now that he's won EVO.

In other news, the DOA community is so butthurt (over not much I might add considering the director said fanservice will still be there) that, outside of the FreeStepDodge forums which seem chill, reading any discussions about that game make me want to die. It's like you can feel the thirst through your monitor reading that shit. Thankfully though, Hitomi and my girl Leifang are being revealed later this month as Gamescom. Hitomi is rockin a gi as usual, but Leifang has what looks like a brand new outfit so that's exciting.

That Negan reveal though was the weirdest, coolest shit though. I don't even care much for TWD anymore really, but T7 is just such a weird ass game tonally and I love it.

"V1: MAXIMUM PRESIDENT" well there's the best move name in the ga- "V2: DANGEROUS PRESIDENT" oh fuck ok this kit looks lame but I'm all in on flaming Lincoln, world president.

Had a ton of fun in my first ever BBTAG tournament with the GB community! Went 2-2 and ended up 4th out of 8.
