Anyways, just wanted to see how people feel about cloud gaming in general. Would you be down for no physical copies of games in the future? This is of course assuming high speed broadband is fast enough that an average joe can take advantage of the cloud....
Personally, I feel this 'prediction' is pretty obvious. Not exactly earth shattering. Just like how CDs are being phased out because of itunes/rhapsody/etc, it seems pretty reasonable that physical disks for games will one day fairly soon be a thing of the past
-however-
Unlike cassette tapes which are deader than dead, there might be room for a small physical disk market in much the same way records are still pressed and sold today to audio enthusiasts and hipsters. I know there is something very satisfying about owning the physical copy of anything... really, and to have extra art or liner notes can give any fanboy a good boner.

In the future? I'm all aboard this with Steam and XBLA/PSN already. Retail discs are only bought when I'm forced to (console 1:st party titles/exclusives).
I don't need to worry about lost discs, I can just hit re-download if it's removed from the HDD or the eventual hoarded piles of games/music I don't use anymore. And especially, I don't need to even leave the apartment to buy my entertainment.
