I stopped going to GS when Jeff left. Not because I was boycotting "the man", but because there wasn't anyone interesting left there. It was hard enough when Rich left. So I've been here since the site launched as a blog, and it's pretty darn snazzy now.

I guarantee you that at least 90% of the people here are from GS.

I frequented several sites depending on what type of gaming news I was looking for.

Tom's Hardware - for all my hardware and technical discussions.
N4G.com - lots of silly fun being had over there, some big fanboys.
gonintendo.com - sometimes that place is overflowing with rabid Ninty fanboys.
Gamespot/IGN - for the usual commercial BS.
Ars Technica - sometimes have interesting articles.

Giant Bomb is looking good so far.

I had accounts everywhere but I was only really active on GS so I suppose I came from GS

Was on GameSpot but got banned for no reason. I was never moderated or anything and one day I go online and got a PM that I was banned. Then I moved over to GameTrailers, which was so shitty that I couldn't wait until GiantBomb launched.

I came from gamespot.  Tired of all their mod bullshit. Gamespot is dead. long live Giant Bomb.
I hope the mass exodus from Gamespot has begun. They can keep their bought scores and bullshit mod system.

I found out about this website from Jeff's blog, which in turn I found out about from Gamespot.

Hulk been big fan of Jeff Gerstmann's work for many years now.  Hulk always read Jeff's blog on Gamespot and watched every episode of points.  Hulk also a bit of an achievement whore.  Hulk follow Gerstmann to his blog site, then to here.

Giant Bomb is basically the home of ex-Gamespotters.

I was a long time member of Gamespot, but left for obvious reasons. Ever since that little "incident" I've just been jumping from place to place. I spend the majority of my time at 1UP just because I love their staff, but I really hate the way their forums are set up. I've basically just been waiting for Giant Bomb to launch and now that it's here...I couldn't be happier.

I was still going to gamespot but im most likely gonna stop since the only kool person there is arron. all my favortie editors are here minus Alex

I joined Gamespot for the great insight that Jeff and Ryan brought to the table.  I'd been following the side project so closely that I knew when this site dropped I would move in for the long haul.  It is a great site.
