Games you stopped playing at the last Boss Battle?

• Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, because i went in with a bazooka instead of a machine gun and had to start the last level from the beginning so... >_> 
• Batman: Arkham Asylum, im tired of being stuck in a tiny space punching hundreds of motherfuckers away.......... enough!

• cuz the last boss was wearing the Iron Man suit  and fucking me up so i was like i had my fun, screw it. 

Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones for GBA. I loved that game to pieces but I spent the whole night grinding characters at my friends house and then I accidently left the game there.. and never seen it again.

  heavenly swords last boss was down right cheap and not fun... i traded the game in before i tried again....

Dead Space. I just didn't like running away from the invulnerable Regenerator again.

I should have done so with two games: Romancing SaGa 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Those are the only two games I've ever compared to rape. Ever.

I do that all the time with games (something of a hobby of mine) but it's Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door that I feel worst about not doing. I was literally RIGHT THERE but...eh.

Final Fantasy 7 is what comes to mind. I've seen the ending on YouTube. I stopped caring!

Ninja Gaiden 2, i can beat dagra dai, but the archfiend kills me everytime.

Never.  If I'm that close to the end, I just keep playing until I finish.

I've done this a few times. But not at all for the same reason. I play mostly RPGs, and just before the "point of no return" after completing all the side quests, collecting all the things I want to collect, and killing all the secret bosses, I just stop. I don't bother to actually kill the final boss and end the game. For example, I played FF12 for like 150+hrs, collected every single item (which is hard as fuck) etc. but I've never entered the final dungeon. Maybe I don't want the game to end, or maybe I don't want to see the ending because I have a feeling it'll suck.

Metroid Prime 

Final Fantasy X, though I did finally beat it about a year later.

Chrono Trigger. 
I'd pretty much breezed through the game with only a couple deaths.  Did a few of the optional end missions and then went to face the last boss. 
Beat his first form after a try or two, went to his second form aaaaaand got murdered in like two turns. 
I didn't feel like having to spend another 5-7 hours grinding levels so I said fuck it and stopped playing.  Since then, my cart has gone mysteriously missing. O.O

Killzone 2.  Fuck that stupid ass last boss room.

Punchout

I'm embarrassed to admit, but it wasn't the last boss that was the problem, but getting to the last boss in Final Fantasy X. I kept going the direction the arrow was pointing to on the map, but it was a dead end in the direction I was going. I didn't play the game for awhile (a year or more), then when I played it again, I found my way to the boss and felt like a complete idiot (more than I usually do).

first mario and luigi. I beat the final boss once but there was  a timed escape 
sequence I failed to pass. Tried many more times, never could beat it again.    

Metroid Prime

Final fantasy 7, I put too much time into that game (I got the guide and did just about everything you can do) and could never bring myself to do it...

Final Fantasy 1 on PSP, Final Fantasy 3 on DS and Final Fantasy 10. FF1 just fell out of it recently, FF3 couldn't beat him and lost the interest in power leveling and in FF10 probably the same. Damn, I can't only be doing this in FF games.

I stopped in Pikmin and in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. I just didn't think I could do it

Also, since DDR Supernova, all of the PS2 DDR games have had at least one stupid-hard challenge chart, which is annoying because they still don't have a lot of Max300-level charts, so why not fill out that region of difficulty first? Bah.

Both of those games were extremely easy except for the final boss battles, and they just weren't good enough to justify dying over and over again to get the end cinematic.

KOTOR. My guy sucked too much. I loaded up my brothers character and beat him the first time.

I can't think of a last boss, but I stopped playing Dead Space halfway through the last level.  For pretty much no reason too, I just never put it back in once I stopped playing.  I'm planning on starting it all over and playing through it soon though.

Fracture. I was playing it on the hardest mode (it was a rental, and I gots to nab those points). Final boss was a pain, and every time you died it didn't just send you back to the start of the battle. No, that would be too convenient. Instead, it sets you back a ways where you've got to run through a few tunnels (with some mandatory terrain deformation needed to pass each one), while the bad guy prattles on with the same damn dialogue every time. You then proceed to battle the dirtbag, die rather quickly because he's a bitch on hardcore mode, and go all the way back again.
 
I'm normally headbuttingly persistent with games, and I gave this a bloody good shot. Then I realised the game was due back that day (this all happened in the wee small hours) and it could go fuck itself in its stupid landscape-morphing arse for all I cared anymore.

Lost Planet - Couldn't figure out how to control the super VS and haven't played since that first attempt.
Mercenaries 2 - I hate "push the button when indicated" sequences.

Devil May Cry.
I tried to kill the last boss four times and suddenly told to myself "It's Ok, you finished the game, you can let go now"

Mega Man x5 - cant beat sigma
Viewtiful joe 2 - not exactly the las boss but i think the last level, i just cant solve a puzzel and the i give up
Max Payne 2 - i dont know if it was the last boss but im prety sure, the one when there is a bomb and you have to chase him.

the most of the game i didnt finished is because for some reason i lost the game, because the game was of the friend of a friend, because i scratched the CD or any other reason
